The UNC Charlotte Workforce in the next decade

to retire.
In 10 years, it is anticipated that, due to growth, employment must increase by about 40%. That is an additional 1119 non-faculty permanent
employees to be hired. Over 178, 500 square feet of space, at an approximate cost
of $35-45 million, would be needed just for additional staff (about the size of Woodward Hall)
