In this image, I had Gabby standing in front of a white wall in Solihull town, this was the first image I took of her she wasn’t ready and wasn’t looking at the camera, it is a good quality photo but I didn’t want it because she wasn’t giving direct address to the camera.

This is the image I wish to use for the front cover of the magazine; I like how she is giving direct address to the camera giving it a connection to the audience. She has a slight smile giving it a friendly look and it looks a professional image with a white background meaning I don’t have to edit because I did want a white background to my magazine so I could place text on the background and it would stand out.

For this image I took an image of Wilson in Solihull sixth form, it was slightly dark so I used the flash on the camera and it gave this great affect.

This image is of Wilson again, I felt it was a great, Wilson was giving direct address, I feel that if I used this image I would have to darken the glasses to give less attention to the shine on his glasses and his eyes.

This image is again by the white wall; I felt this would be a great image to be for the double page spread due to it being a mid-shot of Gabby, she is giving a more neutral expression now, I feel that this would go with the front cover image.

Here Gabby has a very fuller smile showing her teeth, this makes it look a lot more friendly and happy, it makes it look like she is happy which will reflect on the audiences impression and feelings towards the magazine. She had her leg up against the wall so I got a mid-long shot of her to show this. I would have to edit it if I used it because I would have to get rid of the line on the wall.

Here is a more close up image of Wilson, I liked the image but I didn’t wish to include the cigarette he was smoking because I didn’t want to make this image that smoking was good and cool, I felt I would have been setting a image of smoking being okay to do but it still would have been okay to put in my magazine due to it being aimed to a audience where you can smoke.

I liked the effect of this image, I loved the smoke coming out of his nose, because I was able to capture it well but I again feel it may be giving the wrong image of smoking being cool and good and I don’t wish to promote it, even though my audience can smoke I don’t feel like promoting it.

I liked the effect on this image of the light hitting Wilson and making the background black but I felt the hair that it covering his left eye is not very good and also the smoke of the cigarette his is smoking is there. I feel like it wasn’t a very good image unlike the others.
