• ¿La iglesia no es esencial? ¿Se puede ir al cielo sin ser miembro de la iglesia? Así dicen muchas personas. Para ellos la iglesia no es importante. Deben leer Efesios.

• La iglesia existe para la exaltación de Cristo. 1:20-23 le sentó a su diestra en los lugares celestiales, 21 sobre todo principado y autoridad; 22 cabeza de la iglesia, su cuerpo

• The church exists for the exaltation of Christ 1:20-23 He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 above all rule and authority; 22 head of the church, His body.

• 2:11-16 La iglesia existe para reconciliación de todo creyente en un cuerpo. 12 estába-mos (los gentiles) lejos de Dios; 13 ahora cercanos; 14, Jesús quitó la ley de Moisés.

• 4:11-16 La iglesia existe para la edificación y perfección de los santos. 13 hay que ser varón perfecto; 14 no niños fluctuantes; 16 cuerpo crece por actividad de cada miembro

• Para ser iglesia gloriosa: nueva vida (4:17-32); fieles en el hogar (5:22-6:4); y en el trabajo (6:5-9); llevar toda la armadura de Dios (6:10-18) para defensa y evangelizar.

• In order to be a glorious church: new life (4:17-32); faithful in the home (5:22-6:4); and at work (6:5-9); wear the whole armor of God (6:10-18) for defense and to evangelize.

• Conclusión: Estando muertos (no enfermos) (2:1-3), el poder que resucitó a Cristo nos resucitó (2:4, 5) y nos hizo sentar en lugares celestiales (2:6) – en la ¡“iglesia gloriosa”!
