Export actual parameters using CM Operations Manager 2. Open the exported XML file in Wordpad and save as text (no need to replace the extension to .txt) 3. Open this tool and go to the "Main_Page" sheet 4. Click on the "Show XML Plan Window" to open the XML plan form 5. Select the "XML Parser" and select the network objects that you want to parse (note: click select all objects if you want 6. Click the "Parse XML Dump" button to parse the exported parameter s Function 2: Using the tool to perform parameter checks 1. Perform the task to parse XML dump on the site you want to check (see procedures abov e) 2. After parsing the XML dump select the tab "Consistency Checks" 3. Select the object (or all) that you want to do the check. Select "yes" on the messagebox to activate the bu tton for co rre 4. You can correct discrepancies by clicking on the "Correct Discrepancies" button  (Note: clicking the button on step 4 will only correct the values an d remove lines with no discrepa ncies for all objects e x Function 3: Using the tool to create XML plans With all the parameters populated on each object sheet you can create the XML plans to perform several tasks: 1. Open the main XML plan form 2. Select the "Plan Generator" tab 3. Select the object you want to create the XML plan (e.g. RNC, WBTS, WCEL, etc.)  (Note: select the "All" optio n if you need to create just a sing le XML plan fo r all objects in the spre adsheet) 4. Select the operation type (see description below for the different operation type) Update - to update or modify parameters Create - to re-create objects like BTS or TRX with the same or different parameter s Delete - to delete network objects 5. Make sure th at the RNCs a re sorted so all ob jects will be included on the XML plan. I provisioned th e tool to auto matic 6. Selet the c urrent date from the calendar 7. Provide the XML filename and the directory where you want the XML plan to be saved 8. Click on the "Generate XML Plan" button to create the XML plan
