Umpiring Opportunities 2017 The IOMCA are running 2 courses to provide people with the knowledge and confidence to umpire at all levels of cricket on the Island from junior to premier league matches. Course 1: Intro A bespoke workshop for beginners, aimed at people looking to umpire junior matches as parents or helpers this will give all the knowledge required and the opportunity to gain knowledge which mwill help move on the umpire pathway if you choose. Course 2: Official ECB umpire level 1 course. Objectives To equip you with the necessary knowledge to Umpire matches for your cricket club or possiblly entry levels of league cricket; which will increase the enjoyment of both players and spectators Description A comprehensive 12-16 hour course delivered over a series of sessions aimed at providing the new umpire with the necessary knowledge & skills to confidently Umpire matches at their local cricket club.
