UMIAQ Environmental is an SBA 8(a) subsidiary of Ukpeaġvik Inupiat Corporation (UIC), that provides a comprehensive suite of environmental permitting and consulting services with expertise in working in remote locations.
We are a capable, experienced company that integrates its collec�ve resources, skills, and experience to deliver high-quality services and support.
We provide cradle to grave services related to environmental remedia�on inves�ga�ons, stakeholder engagement, studies, land use planning, long-range comprehensive planning, capital improvement program planning, engineering support, remedial designs, removal and remedial ac�ons including landfarming, and opera�ons and maintenance ac�vi�es, studies, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, and regula-tory compliance.
Our team supports oil spill response plans, emergency response plans, incident management exper�se, Na�onal Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documenta�on, and permit packages for the most challenging of projects.
Our team has developed rela�onships and familiarity with Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies that help streamline applica�on processing �me through effec�ve communica�on. Our team consistently meets and exceeds agency expecta�ons. The experience of our permi�ng team provides increased insight into project permi�ng �melines and possible challenges that could affect project execu�on �melines.
