The Desert Harmony Festival is the Barkly communities major event. The Festival programs a diversity of artistic and cultural performances cele-brating the Barkly's Indigenous and multicultural community. The Festival covers all genres from music, art, media, film, theatre, dance, spoken word, workshops and bush dinners. It is a showcase of local performers, touring professional artists and arts companies and community access and participation.

Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend: 30th of July – 1st of August 2016

The Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend is a great family outback event. There is a rodeo, steer ride, station buck jump and more. Camping facili-ties, showers and toilets are available, entry and camping fee applies. Please 'bring your own' alcohol and the food canteen will be available all weekend.

The world's best cross-country navigators will use their navigation
