ItisoptimaltoinstallUltimateVentBlocksdirectlyintothemoldbasewheneverpossible.UltimateVentBlocksshouldbeinsertedatleast4.50”fromtheedgeofthemoldbase.TheinletsidesofbothhalvesoftheUltimateVentBlockmustbeflushtothediecavityinsertandmateevenlywitheachotherwhenintheclosedcondition.there should be approximately a .040” mismatch in height between the stationary and ejector halves of the Ultimate Vent Block when installed correctly.ThepartinglineoftheUltimateVentBlockhalvesshouldbepositionedflushto,or.001”-.002”proudtothediecavityinsert.

Keysareprovidedineachblocktoensurealignmentbetweenthestationaryandejectorhalves.Ifpocketsarenotcorrectlymachinedtotolerance,thekeymaynotholdandshiftinblockcouldoccur.Thiscanresultinshutoffofventing.

Waterisprovidedintheblocksusingthehorizontalmountingholes.Ifwaterisused,theverticalholeswillbeusedtoretaintheblocks.
