Tailgating at the GameA successful tailgate requires careful advance planning andattention to detail. Let our tips help you plan the perfect pre-game party so the only thing you need to concentrate on is the score of the game.

Gear Up for the Big DayPlan Ahead — Take a few days to thoroughly plan your tailgating party. Know what you’re taking, what you’re cooking and how many people will be tailgating.

Scout a Location — Investigate a few good tailgating spots a week before game day. Pre-plan your game day route and locations. Make sure everyone has one central meeting place.

Pack Bottles of Wine on the bottom of your cooler to keep chilled and to avoid crushing other foods. And don’t forget to pack your corkscrew!

Easy Clean Up — Pack food in resealable plastic bags or disposablecontainers, which can be thrown away. Bring smaller-sized trash bags tomake clean up easy.

Time Out — Have your spread ready at least two hours before thegame so your group has time to eat and clean up before heading into the stadium.
