The following slides provide you with your Study Guarantee Options broken down into five programme grouping

along with other useful information.

These options cover all of our study locations, therefore including all UK campuses as well as Hong Kong and

Berlin.

1. DEFINITION OF THE ROUTE OPTIONS

Definition of the Route Options

Below is a brief description of the different options available through the September Study Guarantee. Not all

options are available for all courses. The following slides will provide the details of the options available for the

particular course of interest to you.

• Online Streaming - If your campus is not open in September, or you would prefer to start your

programme remotely, we will deliver our programmes via Online Streaming and will continue to provide

you with all the support you would expect from our award-winning Employability Service, Library and

Student Support. Your learning will reflect the face to face experience and follow a similar delivery

timetable.

• Dedicated Online – For our law programmes that have a Dedicated Online version, students can

complete the entire first term/semester online and switch to on campus learning when the second

term/semester starts. These dedicated online modules typically offer greater flexibility allowing you to study

when and where you want and aren’t tied to the face to face timetable.

• Blended Learning – This option is available for our AMIL LLM programmes, MSc Legal Technology

and PG Dip and PG Cert Legal Technology. Students can elect to study via dedicated online modules. If

you choose to start studying online then unlike other programmes, in this route you will follow the same

timetable and pace of learning as the face to face programme. It means you can move from online to on

campus learning within the same term if our campuses reopen to facilitate this.

2. ONLINE STREAMING AND DEDICATED ONLINE OPT-IN

If you are unable to attend your programme F2F, (either because the campus is closed or because of

your own health concerns/travel restrictions) you have a choice of starting either by online streaming

or by opting into the dedicated online modules.

8. ADVICE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO UK CAMPUSES

• We are planning to process the visa requirements for international students (including CAS requests) as

normal. You can find further information about this process on our Visa Requirements webpage:

• The University is expecting to receive further guidance from UK Visas and Immigration on any

arrangements they will be introducing for international students studying in the UK for September 2020.

• Please note that we cannot start issuing CAS for any of our programmes until 3 months before the

course start date.

• International applicants may be able to start their programme via one of the Study Guarantee routes if

they are delayed in starting their programme face to face, due to Covid-19. The opt-in portal includes

further instructions for Tier 4 students on how you should proceed and continue to engage with our Visa

Compliance Team.
