In exercise of the powers vested to the undersigned under the Statutes and Regulations relating

to first degree awarded by the University, I hereby allow provisional admission to BS Software

Engineering (SE) (four years degree) to the candidates as per attached list in the mentioned categories

during Winter Semester, 2015-2016. The admission of concerned candidates, will however, be subject

to conditions and completion of admission! enrollment formalities as detailed below:-

(i) Their merit has been determined on the basis of marks obtained in Matric, Intermediate(Part-I) and Entry Test with the ratio of 30:30:40 respectively.

(ii) Their admission is purely on provisional basis, which will be subject to declaration ofcombined Intermediate result. In case a candidate secures marks within the prescribedminimum criteria i.e 60% marks i.e. 55011100 (excluding 20 marks of Hafiz-e-Quran),he/she will continue. In case, marks are less than the minimum criteria or he/she fails topass all the courses of Intermediate, the admission shall be considered as cancelled withoutprior intimation! notice. In this eventuality, the dues deposited by the candidate will berefunded after following the prescribed procedure within the specific time frame as perrelevant provisions. However, in case any candidate quits admission at his/her own, thedeposited dues shall not be refunded.

(iii) They will deposit dues as detailed below on prescribed challan form immediately but notlater than 05.10.2015:-

(iv) Those who desire to submit fee, UG-I form and registration form electronically are requiredto follow the steps as detailed below:-

a. Download challan form of BS (SE) from University web site www.uaf.edu.pk. Aftercompleting the same, deposit fee at home town in any Branch of MCB or HBLthrough online TBD account and avoid carrying cash to Campus for safetyreasons.

b. Download courses enlistment form (UG-I) of BS (SE) 1st semester as well asUniversity Registration form (E-2) and complete the same in all respects.

(v) The fee challan, UG-I form, University Registration form (E-2) complete in all respectsand missing document (as indicated against their names in the list), if any, be submitted byhand or sent through any means as a pre-requisite for completion of admission!enrolmentformalities. These documents should reach in Office of the undersigned not later than06-10-2015, otherwise admission shall be treated as cancelled without assigning any reasonand they shall have no claim whatsoever.

(vi) Hard copies of fee challan, UG-I and Registration Form (E-2) are also available in Officeof the undersigned.

(vii) The following documents will be provided by each admitted candidate within fifteen(15)days from issuance of this notification:-

a. Declaration and undertaking on separate judicial papers worth Rs. 200/- each as perspecimen displayed on the Notice Boards and included in the brochure.

b. Submission of medical fitness certificate issued by the Medical Officer of a GovernmentHospital, MBBS Practitioner (Registered with PMDC) or Medical Officer(s) ofUniversity.

(viii) Those who have been indicated as overage in remarks column, should contact office of theundersigned immediately for submission of proper request for onward consideration by thecompetent authority.

(ix) The provisionally admitted candidates should submit Intermediate result card along withcharacter certificate issued by the Institution last attended in this office within one monthafter declaration of result, failing which they will not be allowed to sit in the classes andappear in mid-term examination.

(x) The candidates who have submitted detail marks/result intimation of Matric along withadmission application form, should produce four attested copies of prescribed certificateimmediately on receipt from the Board, Similarly, Intermediate Certificate will also beprovided by the concerned candidates immediately on receipt from Board. In case anystudent fails to provide copies of requisite Certificate, he/she shall be restrained to continuefurther studies/cancel hislher admission.

(xi) In case any information/document attached with the application form is found asBogus/Tempered/Fabricated etc. at any stage of studies, the admission shall be cancelledretrospectively without assigning any reason.

Errors and omissions, if any, in this notification are acceptable.
