His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. PRAYER DURING THE PENTECOSTARION PERIOD: The prayer to the Holy Spirit, "O Heavenly King", said in almost every Orthodox prayer service is NOT said from Pascha, until the Vespers service for Pentecost.
