Paschal Walsh - Commercial Director, LondonPaschal is Commercial Director. He has over 20 years experience providing commercial management, dispute resolution and strategic advice on major infrastructure, rail and water projects in both the UK and Australia.
Paschal has a Masters in Law and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Association for Project Management.
Bob Chapman - Regional Managing Director, UKBob is Regional Managing Director for UK who, prior to joining Systech, had 25 years experience in director and senior management roles with major contracting organisations. Bob has managed large commercial management and project delivery teams on site and is highly skilled in settling difficult final accounts and resolving claims and disputes.
Bob is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Geoff Ansell - Director, Corporate Maketing & TrainingGeoff is responsible for our Group-wide marketing function as well as our global training programme, for which he organises regular seminars and events for our clients. He is also responsible for the delivery of our smart phone applications service. Geoff has 25 years experience working for contractors and client organisations providing commercial management, claims and business consulting services.
Geoff is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Simon Chew - Commercial Director, UK Northern OperationsSimon heads-up the UK Northern operations. He has 30 years experience providing commercial management, claims and dispute resolution services on a diverse range of projects in the construction, rail, airport, infrastructure, energy, utilities and marine sectors.
Simon is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Glen Loftus - Head of DisputesGlen is our Head of Disputes for the UK and Europe. He has extensive experience in advising clients on claims and dispute strategies where his focus is on securing the best commercial settlement. He is responsible for managing our team of claims consultants and ensuring the quality of the documentation they prepare. He has experience in the resolution of disputes through mediation, adjudication and arbitration and is known for establishing a good working relationship with our client’s legal advisors.
Glen is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has an MSc in Construction Law and & Arbitration from King’s College.
Phil DurrantPhil is our Director of Planning for the UK and Europe. He has over 30 years experience in the construction industry working in planning and project management roles. Phil has experience in preparing programmes across all phases of a project - bid, project baseline, on-site progress and acceleration. He is also familiar with the various forms of delay analysis techniques and he regularly works in tandem with our quantumclaims consultants to prepare entitlement documentation. Phil has worked in a variety of sectors including construction, rail, airports and specialist subcontracting. He also delivers training seminars on planning topics.
Leigh Gibbs - Director, Visualisations
Leigh is Director of our in-house visualisation service and with his team he creates compelling animations to communicate complex project information and key messages. This service has been used by our clients to support bids, construction phasing, change impacts and dispute resolution. Leigh initially trained as a quantity surveyor before moving into management where he headed up the IT departments of two international quantity surveying practices. He has over 15 years experience working with design professionals and has worked with CAD systems since 1980 when the first commercial systems were introduced.
Richard Morris - Head of Expert Witness ServicesRichard is our Head of Expert Services with over 30 years project experience during which time he has developed specialist skills in programming and delay analysis. He is an arbitrator, adjudicator and mediator and is regularly appointed as an expert witness in programming matters. He has given evidence under cross examination in court and before arbitration tribunals. Richard is a regular speaker at seminars, delivers client training programmes and is a lecturer for university law courses.
Richard is a past chairman of the CIArb Board of Management and is listed in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrator’s Directory of Expert Witnesses.
