1. THE WATER MANAGEMENT ANO DRAINAGE FACILITIES SHALL BE MAINTAINED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER.

ONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS ANO ELEVATIONS PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. ANY DEVIATION IN PLAN INFORMATION SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE ENGINEER ANO OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE IMMEDIATELY.

CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN FROM THE ENGINEER WRITIEN APPROVAL FOR ANY DEVIATIONS FROM THE PLANS ANO/OR SPECIFICATIONS.

COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA POWER ANO LIGHT, SPRINT TELEPHONE SERVICE, AND CATV MAY HAVE EXISTING UTILITIES ADJACENT TO THIS PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE RESPECTIVE UTILITIES TO LOCATE THEIR FACILITIES PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION.

9. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING TRAFFIC AND USAGE OF THE EXISTING STREETS ADJACENT TO THE PROJECT. AUL TRAFFIC MAINTENANCE CONTROL SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA MANUAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL AND SAFE PRACTICES FOR STREET CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, AND UTILITY OPERATIONS. TRAFFIC CONTROL OPERATION PROCEDURES SHALL BE SUBMITIED TO OWNER FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION.

10. A PRE CONSTRUCTION MEETING SHALL TAKE PLACE WITH COULIER COUNTY COMPLIANCE SERVICES PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION (48 HOURS MINIMUM).

11. THE FIRE PROTECTION WATER SUPPLY INCLUDING FIRE HYDRANTS, SHALL BE INSTALLED ANO IN-SERVICE PRIOR TO PLACING COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS ON SITE, OR AS OTHERWISE EXCEPTED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE MARKED IN A UNIFORM MANNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 291.

12. EXOTIC VEGETATION AS DEFINED BY THE COLLIER COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE AND SUBSEQUENT ANNUAL EXOTIC REMOVAL (IN PERPETUITY) SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPERTY OWNER.

13. THE PROPERTY OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACEMENT OF ALL DEAD LANDSCAPE MATERIAL AND FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE REQUIRED IRRIGATION SYSTIEM.

14. THE PROPERTY OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TH E PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE OF ALL FEATURES OF THE SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AS OUTLINED BY THE DESIGN ENGINEER ON THESE DRAWINGS.

15. VEGETATION TO REMAIN SHALL BE PROTECTED WITH APPROVED BARRICADING (DETAIL SHOWN) AND BARRICADING WILL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION (UDC SECTION 3.9.5.1.5).

16. DESIGN PROFESSIONAL'S P.S.M. SHAUL BE REPONSIBLE FOR INITIAL SURVEY CONTROL TO BE USED FOR CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTERS 177 & 472 FLORIDA STATUTES ANO CHAPTER 61-G-17 OF THE FLORIDA ADM IN. CODE. CONTRACTOR SHAUL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION SURVEY AND LAYOUT. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REINSTALLATION OF ALL PROPERTY CORNERS DISTURBED BY HIS WORK.

17. CURB CUT RAMPS OR SLOPED AREAS SHALL BE PROVIDED AT ALL ACCESS LOCATIONS (INTERSECTIONS TO STREETS, ROADS, OR HIGHWAYS). HANDICAPPED RAMPS SHALL BE PROVIDED AT ALL CURBED LOCATIONS PER F.O.O.T. INDEX NO. 304. SIDEWALK RUNNING SLOPES MAY BE SET AT A RATIO OF 20: 1 BUT IN NO CASE STEEPER THAN 12: 1.

18. ANY PUBLIC LANO PROPERTY CORNER WITHIN THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION IS TO BE PROTECTED. IF A CORNER MONUMENT IS IN DANGER OF BEING DISTURBED THE CONTRACTOR SHAUL PROPERLY REFERENCE IT'S LOCATION TO BE RESET BY THE CONTRACTOR'S SURVEYOR. ANY SURVEY MONUMENTS AND PRIVATIE PROPERTY CORNER DISTURBED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES SHALL BE REPLACED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN COST.

19. ACCESS ONTO EXISTING STREETS AND DRIVES SHALL BE MAINTAINED TO LOCAL TRAFFIC ANO PROPERTY OWNERS, RESPECTIVELY. CONTRACTOR SHALL LIMIT CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ROADWAYS. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING OF ROADWAYS ON A DAILY BASIS WHEN ACTIVITIES ARE ON OR AFFECT A ROADWAY.

2D. EXISTING DRAINAGE STRUCTURES WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION LIMITS SHALL REMAIN UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN THESE PLANS OR AS DIRECTED BY THE ENGINEER.

21. REGRADING SHALL GENERALLY CONFORM TO EXISTING GRADE ANO SHALL NOT CAUSE RESTRICTIONS TO OVERLAND FLOW OF STORM WATER RUNOFF INTO EXISTING INLETS, SWALES OR OTHER DRAINAGE FEATURES.

22. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPER SEDIMENT AND EROSION CONTROL. NO ADDITIONAL PAYMENT SHALL BE MADE FOR THIS WORK. THE COST IS INCIDENTAL TO THE CONSTRUCTION.

23. ALL EXISTING CULVERT PIPES SHALL BE INSPECTED BY CONTRACTOR, COUNTY ANO DESIGN PROFESSIONAL. ALL CULVERT PIPE SHALL BE CLEANED AS NECESSARY AND DIRECTED. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING EXISTING AND NEW CULVERT PIPE CLEAN OF ALL SILT UNTIL ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROJECT.

Component spacings ore maximum. Do not exceed spacings shown or noted on the plans. Component spacings may be adjusted to accommodate change!! In terrain and planting layout aa long os the modified spacings do not exceed the spacings shown In the plans. Unless shown otherwise, lrrigatlon contractor shall provide 100X coverage .

All mat8f"icls and equipment shown shell be installed as detailed on the plans. If the drawings do not thoroughly describe the techniques to be used, the Installer shell follow the lnstollatlon methods/Instructions recommended by their manufacturer.

Irrigation contractor ehall adjust ell sprinklers, controller and other devices to obtain specified operating characteristics, Including covercge, operating pressure, flow rotes and operation time, as indicated on the drawtngs and on the Irrigation System Speclficotions. Adjust all sprinklers to o;rold overthrow of water onto bulldlngs, roadways, e1dewalke or extating notiVe vegetation.

Contractor to provide lnstollatlon shop drawings and manufacturer product information for all irrigation components. All lnstcllotlans shall be as recomended by manufacturers. The quantities sl'lown In the legends and symbol sheets shall not be used for bidding purposes. The contractor will be responsible for conducting a compreheneive take-off of materials to determine the actual quantities of material necessary to execute the work described on the plans and drawings.

All trenches shall be backfilled with clean. debris-free materials. Clean sand shall be used for bedd!ng material if porent eoil cannot be adequately rid of rock and other extraneoue debris. Pulling p!pe ehall be prohibited.

At crossings scheduled for construction or renovations, shall be mode using Claes 200 PVC piping or as spoclfled by tho project'a en~ineer. A second sleeve dedicated for controller wires shell occur adjacent to the maln/submain llne. Refer to pion sheets for tho size of the slee;res ot the crossings.

2. Irrigation contractor shall coordinate with genera l contractor for the location of elee\IEI crossings whether shown or not. At no time will wiring share the eamo uleeve with moin(s) or other piping. Wiring sleeves shall be dedicated only for wiring.

CONTROL SYSTEM

JI.JI controller(s) (each if applrcable) wlll be grounded using two eigl'lt foot (B') copper clad rode with #6 sclrd copper wire. Copper clomps will be used to attoch the wire to the rods. If another controller Is utlllzed, on earth ground of five (5) ohms or less shatl be obtained on the grounding equipment.

All controller(s) (each if opplicoble) will ho;re a Rain sensor and by-poss switch Installed to meet state and local codes. Program or schedule the Irrigation sequence fer the irrigation system during construction and normal operation until final acceptance by the Irrigation Consu ltotnt. Wire sizes for control valve connections to tne controller wlll be H14 gouge so11d wire. Red wire will be used for octl;rallon, white wire for common, blue wire for future expan,lon!ll, <1 nd green wire for spore. The contractor shall fumish sufficient wires to allow for: (1) spore and (1) future expansion, at vol;rea located farthest dlstance1 awat from the controller, and at all other designated locations. Where possible and feosoble Install valve boxes within planting bedlines. No valve boxes shall be installed within: 3' of a sidewalk or other pedestrian used surface, 5' from any vehicular roadways. Do NOT install ot the bottom of swale(s) or any other low point.
