Types of sewerage systems are :-

o Combined sewerage system

o Separate sewerage system

o Partially combined sewerage system

Type of sewerage system provided :-

Separate sewerage system

Quantity to be treated at sewage treatment plant is

small, resulting in economy of treatment.

Sanitary sewage is transported in closed conduit

and storm water can be collected and conveyed

through open drains.

When pumping is required during disposal, this

system is economical due to less flow.

Slope of the sewer = 1 in 215
