Many Hats. One Goal.

On any given day you might think Ramesh Pokharel

is one of four quadruplets of brothers – but in fact

there’s only one of him. “Raj,” as he is known around

the hospital dining area, wears so many hats that

some days it feels like there are four of him. Whether

he’s serving food, cleaning the salad bar, maintaining

the soda machines, or helping a family locate a

highchair, Raj does it all with a smile that can only

be described as infectious. You see, Raj loves to help

others, takes great pride in his work, and is truly

excited to be part of the UW Health team. And while

English isn’t his primary language, he often finds

himself using a universal form of communication:
