Stress Management Skills Group for Cancer Patients

Who: Open to any cancer patient/survivor who may need additional assistance with distress, coping, or adjustment related to their cancer and cancer treatment

What: A new 8-week group treatment where patients will learn cognitive-behavioral coping strategies to help ease emotional distress and help manage symptoms like insomnia, pain, and fatigue associated with cancer.

When: Coming Friday afternoons - Fall 2012

Where: UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at Mt. Zion

Why: Because sometimes we could all use a few more tools to help us get by.

How: Participants sign up for the entire 8 week program and are screened prior to registration. Fee may apply. Contact Psycho-Oncology at (415) 353-7019.
