Fuel tank protectionThe finned on the perimeter, 3 mm-thick impact-resistant steel skid plate protects the fuel tank from external damage.

Cargo matA durable and lightweight cargo mat protects belongings, tools and other household items in the cargo space. The mat also protects the floor of the vehicle from fluids or wear and tear that may occur during transportation of cargo.

Expedition rackA rock-solid and ultra-convenient rack accommodates all sorts of cargo to transport, such as a tent for a fishing trip or equipment for hunting. Eight mounting legs and durable fasteners provide a uniform load distribution and protection when driving over rough terrains. Dedicated positions for optional headlights, shovel and rack jack attachment are provided, no installation tools required. A steel mesh secures the load. The roof rack has a shock-resistant powder coating.

During its first participation in the prestigious transcontinental race UAZ successfully passed the whole distance of 14,000 km as an escort vehicle for one of the teams and coped with all difficulties of the route!

6In 2010 the UAZ company tested dynamics, structural strength, and passing ability of the Patriot Sport SUV at a military training area. Patriot Sport was competing with an armored fighting vehicle BTR-80. The car reached a speed of 40km/h and covered 200 meters in 18 seconds, securing a lead of 2 seconds.

2Starting from 1970s, Martorelli brothers, who were the owners of the well-known Italian company Marbros, participated in races and autocrosses on UAZ vehicles. They had repeatedly become overall champions of Italy in various categories.

3UAZ-469 was the first vehicle to climb up the Elbrus. In August 1974 during initial run three standard cars (without any winches or anti-skid chains) of UAZ-469 reached the glacier on Elbrus at the height of 4,000 meters.

8In 2014 UAZ Patriot SUV accomplished an Arctic expedition. Over 21,000 km were covered in 38 days. The route comprised public-access roads, temporary winter roads, the frozen Tundra, and the ice of the Laptev Sea. The expedition started and finished in Krasnoyarsk.

9In 2010 UAZ-469 set a new world record in the passenger car capacity. The SUV managed to accommodate 32 people. A regular bus has almost the same number of passenger seats. The total weight of the people with the driver amounted to 1,900 kg, which is equivalent to the weight of an African elephant.

The car was equipped with propelling screws, thanks to which the speed reached up to 10 km/h on water. The cars successfully passed the tests in harsh environmental conditions: the Pamir uplands, the Astrakhan’s heat and the Arctic’s cold.

1The first electric vehicle by UAZ was developed in 1959. It was intended for operation in airfields. The electric vehicles operated on traction batteries split into 2 sections. The underfloor batteries were installed on both sides in special boxes.
