11 v 11 soccer during fall. Flag football in spring as well as fall since it is a highly favored sport.

Roller Skating

no, you have everithing

Really mainly want to play some ultimate frisbee. Didn't make the first year but I found out about it late or would have helped to promote. Didn't

hear about it since. then.

FOOTBALL!!!!!!! GO TROJANS!

It would be awesome if there was an additional indoor soccer league in the spring semester. In my opinion indoor soccer is much easier to officiate

and it's easier to get enough players to show up for each game than outdoor soccer, so I think we should play indoors year-round. The outdoor

league would be much better if we could play on the actual soccer field, but the practice field we always use is uneven and hard, and many games

were canceled due to standing rainwater this semester. These problems would be alleviated if we just played in the gym instead.

We don't need to add any more, because it seems that there is still plenty of room for improvement with the sports already being done. (See the

Please explain any ways you feel the Intramural Sports program could be improved?

i feel it is great but if i referee it'll be better

I believe it would be beneficial to everyone if we played indoor soccer in the spring instead of outdoor. The gym provides a better, smoother

playing surface, and no more games would be canceled because of weather. It's also easier to regulate smaller indoor games without offside to

worry about, and with smaller roster requirements there would be less forfeits by teams with too few players.

I think that the Intramural Sports program is going on strong as it is so far.

Referees should either be professionals and off campus for fairness or the referees should be much better trained. There should not be referees

sitting on a teams bench with his friends that are playing or even being a member of an organization playing. Also the refs need to understand that

the games are important to the players and should be taken seriously. A scoreboard and clock should be at all flag football events so there is no

room for cheating.

more flyers around campus and at the Village

Provide the two sports I requested above.

A turf field for all outdoor sports. Many games were cancelled for outdoor sports due to the grass field being too muddy, and turf would last longer

anyway.

I think each program should be made more public because I don't even know they are going on, but I would be interested if I did. Also, it would

make it easier to join if teams that are short-handed could announce that they need members. Also, announcing general practice times for the

public could make it easier to meet other people who are on teams or interested in starting a team.

I think it doesn't need improvement

more training for refs

better refs!! explanation of rules at beginning of each season

Ways Intramural Sports can be improved is getting atleast Two Real Ref to do the games. Hiring students to do the games isnt working because

only a few actually knows the game of basketball. Having Refs well decrease the co motion. And changes are someone wont get hurt badly in the

game. Also, I believe it isnt fair for a team to win the whole tournament and not being able to travel to play against other competition. I thought if

you won the tournament the director over the Intramural Sports allowed the winning to go and play the other teams from different schools.

I tried to sign up for Ultimate Frisbee. I joined a team, but there were insufficient players to make a team. After I joined, I received no word about

practices or anything at all.

more advertising inside the campus

Better trained referees

Poorly run system. Great sports selection, but officiating is awful and the soccer field is the worst field that I've ever played on. Overall just awful.

Program has only gotten worse since Grant took over.

schedule is better

None

The game schedule is too close. I recommend to start the season earlier.

Make a list of equipment players may need to buy before joining a team for a program. It lets the students know how much they can expect to

spend.

Promotion

More involvement from students

Improved refereeing for flag football. Need more people to get involved!

Increase awareness so that more people compete. Other than that it is run very well and I was very pleased with the program.

Better officiating!! Some referees were not very attentive and didn't seem to even know the calls. Also, I have witnessed and heard of partiality

being shown to certain teams on multiple occasions (specifically in basketball where calls can make a difference). Integrity is big, yet when my

teammate calmly disputes a charging call that was visibly wrong (he got hit hard in the face on a steal attempt from the opponent during a fast

break, and the ref wasn't even looking!) and the REF begins to yell at my teammate, arguing "It's not my fault you ran into his hand", and still

calling it a turnover... it doesn't really make me want to sign up for intramurals the next year. I like to play with the confidence that the safety of my

team and I are a priority, and that the excitement of being involved in sports are preserved. I don't feel that a lot of times with UALR Intramurals.

This is not just a matter of one call, but I hear many students complaining about the officiating. I want intramurals to thrive and believe it can

become a wonderful tool to bring our campus community together, but this situation has to be fixed for it to do so effectively. I know it is not easy,

but when something as humble as Intramural sports is handled excellently it can have a tremendous impact on campus life and will grow both with

time. Thanks.

The officiating, rules, and policies could be improved. Also, there could be more advertisement about intramural sports.

referees get voted on when people register for sports.

More professionalism

If you make more adv and get more participation of the students.

The people running it were more informed (i.e. refs calling calls were not consist) People reserved the courts when we were scheduled to have a

game and we had to come back the next night to play because the officials didn't want to wait for the courts to be opened

Better refereeing staff

It would be cool to have the results of each game texted to the people in the league on an opt-in basis. For teams sports like basketball, I would

appreciate stats being taken, for showing things like tournament high scorer, etc.

More publicity

Should provide us with professional referees. Give each team uniforms and shoes. Also provide a game meal!

They seem fine. Time conflicts could be more flexible though.

Better organization and communication.

I think that some of the scheduling could be improved. There needs to be days planned in case of whether incidents including rain and snow and

people not being able to be at the games. The season should not consist of 2 normal games and then the final set.

I signed up to play Women's Doubles Tennis, and had to FIND out that my team was the only team to sign up. Very upset. Communication is

horrible!
