Water vapour toleranceaccording to DIN 28 426/1 and PNEUROP

The water vapour tolerance is the maximum water vapour pressure where a vacuum pump can continuously intake and display pure water vapour under normal ambient conditions (20° C, 1013 mbar abs.).

The water vapour tolerance can be calculated from pumping speed, gas ballast volume and pump temperature.

The water vapour capacity is the maximum volume of water that a vacuum pump can continuously intake and display in form of water vapour under normal ambient conditions (20° C, 1013 mbar abs.).
