Spanish sentence with a direct object: Quiero comprar zapatos negros.

Spanish sentence with a direct object pronoun:

Los quiero comprar hoy.

Rule #2 (option #2) Attached to the end of an infinitive verb [a verb that still ends in ar/er/ir]

Spanish sentence with a direct object: Quiero comprar zapatos negros.

Spanish sentence with a direct object pronoun: Quiero comprarlos hoy.

If there are 2 verbs in your sentence, you have 2 options about where to put the direct object pronoun.
