As I began to try and uncover the source of my lethargy I suspected it might have something to do with the copious amounts of junk food I ingested everyday. So, I tried eating real food. Such as, tuna salad with blue corn chips and mushroom soup, tortellini's cooked in olive oil with compari tomatoes, and marinated artichoke hearts, butternut squash soup with whole wheat bagels topped with soy pepper jack cheese, and Boca burgers with roasted red pepper hummus. Not surprisingly these foods did produce a spike in my energy levels and were also very tasty. I can only conclude that my hesitance to cook before was a result of my laziness, a catch-22 of sorts.
