U - TUBES FOR HEAT EXCHANGERS

FAMET manufactures shell & tube heat exchangers within wide range of parameters and types. U - tubes for U - tube heat exchangers are produced by using FAMET special equipment to cold bending of tubes.

FAMET offers - U-tubes according to Customer`s specification or heat exchanger documentation - U-elbows - tube bending Design and manufacturing standard Manufacturing, testing and inspection of U-tubes are provided according to: - EN 13445, AD 2000 Code, ASME VIII Div.1,TEMA and acc. to heat exchangers specification and Customer`s requirements also.

MaterialsU-tubes can be made from tubes raw materials delivered by Customer or from materials offered by FAMET. Seamless or welded tubes can be used for U-tubes production.

Heat treatment Heat treatment of U-tubes is made regarding to standard, used material and according to Customer`s specification. The following methods are possible: - recrystallization annealing - normalizing - solution treatment

Tight tests of U-tubesThe following tests are possible: - pneumatic test - hydraulic test (max pressure = 700 bars) according to Customer`s requirements or heatexchanger documentation.
