Air Asia plane to Cebu + Gothong Shipping Lines to

In the first few days of the relief operations, the most effective
route (fastest delivery) was through INAEDs chartered plane to
Ormoc. Then the goods were transferred to a helicopter to
Tacloban and dropped in the grandstand oval very near the Divine
Word Hospital of the Benedictine Sisters.
Air Asia, however, has flown the most number of boxes of relief
goods via Cebu. Gothong Shipping and 2GO Super Shuttle made

The biggest challenge of
the first phase of reliefoperations was
transporting the goods

transferring, monitoring
and receiving the goods in
Cebu and shipping them
to Tacloban was a day and
night round-the-clock
work.
