Der Typ S16 Vollaluminiumschirm ist mit einem Balance-System ausgestattet. Jeder kann den Schirm bedienen, da ein plötzliches Zusammenfalten der Streben ausge-schlossen ist. Einzelne Bauteile setzen durch eine breite Farb- und Musterauswahl einen dezenten, aber wirksamen Akzent. Einfaches Öffnen und Schließen des Schirms mittels Schiebemechanismus. Arretierung mittels Spanngriff direkt am Mast. Windsicher bis 60 km/h mit geeigneter Bodenverankerung.

The Type S16 is a full aluminium telescopic umbrella, equipped with an engi-neered balancing system. Any user can handle the umbrella manually without any risk of injuries. Individual components of the umbrella can be selected in a variety of colors, creating a subtle, but effective accent. Due to the variety of variants described, the product allows a high degree of customization. It is easy to open and close using a sliding mechanism. Locking by means of hooks in the mast. It is wind resistant up to 60 km/h (37 mph) with proper anchoring.

S16 – Vollaluminiumschirm mit Balance System

„Innovation made by MDT“, lautet das Motto des Sonnenschutzsystemherstellers MDT-tex. Das Unternehmen, besser bekannt als klassischer Sonnenschirmhersteller und Individualisie-rungsspezialist, wird vor allem durch Innovationsgeist geprägt. Gemeinsam mit seinem Crea-tive Team hat MDT-tex eine Technikneuerung entwickelt und somit ein neues Produkt lanciert – den Vollaluminiumspannschirm Typ S 16. Nicht nur der Name ist lang, sondern auch die Liste der Funktionen und der Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten.

Wenn auch durch den erhöhten Sicherheitsbedarf im Ausland inspiriert, die Idee dürfte einzigartig und zugleich einfach sein: ein Schirm mit Gleichgewichtsverteilung, den jeder bedienen kann ohne sich zu verletzen, da ein plötzliches Zusammenfalten der Streben aus-geschlossen ist. Durch dieses Zusammenspiel zwischen Streben, Membran & Gestell, öffnet und schließt er kontrolliert – kurzum, it stops where you stop.

Der besondere Charme aber entfaltet sich bereits vor dem Öffnen, denn mit seinen ästhe-tischen Designkomponenten - nicht nur in seiner Form, sondern auch in Kombination mit den colorierten Endkappen - setzt der S16 einen gewollten Akzent. Einzelne Bauteile, wie der Handgriff, die Streben-Verbindungsstellen und die Endkappen des Schirms präsentieren sich in nahezu jeder gewünschten Farbe. Darüber hinaus kann der Schirmbezug in Uni-Farben oder in Streifenoptik gewählt werden.

Aufgrund der Funktionen und des hohen Individualisierungsgrades wurde der Typ S16 durch die Jury des Red Dot Design Awards 2018 zum Gewinner in der Kategorie Best of the Best gekürt. Die Auszeichnung würdigt die jahrelangen Bemühungen – dem schon lang im Markt befindlichen Produkt – auch im Standardbereich wieder Glanz und mehr Funktionalität zu verleihen.

Etwas abseits vom Hauptaugenmerk kommt ein weiteres Alleinstellungsmerkmal des S16 ins Spiel - das Textil. Das PES Polyacrylat - Acrylgewebe MDT-tex 300 - bildet die Membran des Vollaluminiumspannschirms. So wurde speziell darauf geachtet, dass das verwendete Textil eine hohe UV-Beständigkeit hat und über eine ebenso hohe Lichtechtheit verfügt. Nicht zu-letzt sorgt die Herstellung von spinndüsen-gefärbtem Garn für eine intensive, langanhaltende Brillanz - kein Wunder also, dass der Schirm ein echtes Glanzstück ist.

„Innovation made by MDT“, is the slogan of the international membrane manufacturer MDT-tex based in Germany. MDT-tex, better known for its classical sun protection tex-tiles and umbrellas, has an innovative spirit. Thanks to many years of experience and with help of their Creative Team, a revolutionary product, with a security concept and an almost endless degree of individualization, has been realized – the Type S16, a full aluminium and telescopic umbrella.

Although inspired by the increased need for security abroad, the idea may be unique and simple at the same time: an umbrella equipped with an engineered balancing system, which results in a balanced opening and closing mechanism between struts, membrane and structure that excludes any risk of injury. As a matching side benefit the safety aspect is considered since it opens and closes in a controlled manner – in short: the umbrella stops where you stop.

However, the special charm unfolds even before opening. The aesthetic design compo-nents - not only in shape, but also in combination with the colored end caps – create a striking accent. Individual components, such as the handle, the strut connectors and the end caps of the umbrella can be individualized. In addition, the cover can be cho-sen in solid colors or striped optics. The high degree of customization sets new stan-dards here.

Due to the functions and the high level of customization, the Type S16 was awarded as winner by the jury of the Red Dot Design Award 2018 in the category Best of the Best. The award pays tribute to the longstanding efforts to give new splendor and functional-ity to a product that has been on the market in the standard range for a long time.A little apart from the main focus another unique selling point of the S16 comes into play - the textile. The PES Polyacrylate - Acrylic fabric MDT-tex 300 - forms the mem-brane of the full aluminium parasol. Special care was taken to ensure that the textile used has a high UV resistance and has as well the same high level of lightfastness. Not least, the production of spinneret-dyed yarn ensures an intense, long-lasting brilliance - no wonder that this umbrella is a real gem.
