Brief description: Small wooden mortar with one carved handle, around exterior roughly incised design of adjoining vertical bands with pointed top and bottom (see design on silver wine cup), raised carved belt of slanted lines.

Measurements: Dia. 13 cm H. 14 cm

Condition: Worn

Provenance: Bought in the bazaar of Kabul, 1970s.
