The competition is open to all residents on the estate; however this year we have decided to open it community wide, therefore including schools, businesses and community organisa- tions....we have already received some entries from residents & busi- nesses so the gardening bug is spreading! We have added a few new categories to get your creativity flowing such as best working or vegetable garden, most creative garden and there will be a special award for the best school or local business. There will be awards and prizes for the winners & runners up in each cate- gory, so enter as many as you like! If you have a small space don’t worry – there is a new trend sweeping the gardening nation....guer- rilla gardening & vertical gardening, there is even a website with tips & ticks to help you http://www. guerrillagardening.org GARDENING COMPETITION Let the planting begin So how do you get involved in this great community activity??
