MEETING
IH 40 at SL 335 (Lakeside Dr.) Interchange Project
The Texas Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the
Amarillo Metropolitan Planning Organization,
cordially invites you to attend a public meeting to gather
information, ask questions and provide comments on the
potential improvements to SL 335 (Lakeside Drive) from 34th
Avenue to SE 3rd Avenue and to IH 40 from Whitaker
Road to State Spur 468 (Airport Boulevard) in Randall and Potter
counties, Texas. This project is a subsegment of The
SL 335 Corridor Development, which proposes the conversion of
the existing SL 335 to a controlled access freeway.

The environmental review, consultaon, and other acons required
by applicable federal environmental laws for this
project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant
to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding
dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
