Madison, WI-USA that prepare students for leadership positions in the food industry, academia, and

government. The state-of-the art PGDM-Food Processing and Business Management (FP&BM) is a

multi-disciplinary resource for the food sector, providing a combination of techno-managerial,

consulting and disruptive business development service. FPBM is designed for educating the

participants to gain specialised managerial research in food processing management to understand the

management arena with respect to nutritional, engineering properties of foods and beverages, quality,

and safety of food supply. IIPM's Centre for Tasting and Marketing provide a wide range of customised

services to students and industry.

PGDM-FP&BM as a rigours academic-cum-industry program represents proof of completion and

mastery of the content discussed in the curriculum. Our web page will provide a tremendous amount of

information. However, we encourage you contact us and explore new opportunities and ultimately

achieve both students and industry goals. To brace and amplify the Intensive – Industry – Institution –

Interaction (4-Is) between IIPM – FPBM and the marketing fraternity, we encourage industrial visits and

Uniqueness of FPBM Program

Life at IIPM

Institute has modern library facilities equipped with

internet access. It has rich resource of books, journals,

periodicals and project reports.

Library is currently subscribing more than 140 journals

both national and international repute. It has more than

14,000 books on diversified subjects viz., history,

culture, religion, ethics, management, law, besides, the

sectoral collections including coffee, tea, rubber,

spices, etc. This wide exposure gives the students an

opportunity to develop intellectual knowledge as well as

rounded personalities with a perspective.

At IIPM, we believe in the power of discussion and

discourse. The campus boasts of a conference hall,

seminar room, executive suites and auditorium, which

are used to organize national and international

seminars, conferences, workshops, various cultural

activities etc.

There is a whole range of sports facilities including a

volleyball court, Table Tennis court, as well as an indoor

sports area. After a long day in classroom, the students

break for recreation and sports, which takes care of a

healthy lifestyle.

As said by Henry David Thoreau "We need the tonic of

wilderness we can never have enough of Nature" The

Walker's path in campus is a window to the fascinating

natural world ready to embrace and sooth its seeker.

We at IIPM believe that a professional work

environment contributes to the learning of students and

hence care is taken to provide them with all the modern

facilities. We believe in pacing towards new

technologies hand in hand with going green. The plush

Conference & Industry Exposure

ICFPA’18 The Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bengaluru

Organized ICFPA'18 - International Conference on "Food

Processing and Agribusiness: Emerging Trends" as a new

horizons in Techno-Business, in collaboration with the

University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI-USA, between 18th

& 19th January 2018 at IIPM campus, Bengaluru.

MYSORE VISIT

At DFRL Mysuru, students were exposed to the modern

food packaging and processing technologies, shelf

stable products along with the availability of handy

experimental kits offered by the laboratory. CFTRI

Mysuru, the pioneer of food technology in India given us

a valuable opportunity to learn about the

entrepreneurial supports and technology avalied by the

Institute.

SOUTH INDIA TOURTravel and Meeting creates bonds, Being the fresh buds

for the course and the Institute where we are not much

aware about the ground reality, IIPMB provided us

frequent visits for Food Industries to get hands on

experience about food technology and to meet Business

Entrepreneurs who are flying at great heights in this field to

know about their journey in this industry. Compliments and

suggestions were received from different entrepreneurs

and key people from Food Industry about the prerequisites

they expect from our people to walk along with them.

Suguna Foods, taken us to the modern poultry

processing plant where the timetravel from egg to

packaged meat were observed and learnt.

The laboratory established at Spice Board of India, Kochi

had sophisticated equipment with diversified applications

to ensure the safety and quality of our food samples.

Aavin, Chennai the recent modernized automated Dairy

processing unit made us to get whiter our knowledge

about the Milk and Milk processing technology.

We are thankful to the Institute and the course curriculum

for being a connection bridge between the future techno

managers and the Food Processing Business.
