Planning for Biking Trip in Goa?

Bikes are cool in Goa, and you will encounter an endless barrage of young backpackers and old hippies zipping around Goa's roads on two-wheelers.

Renting private bikes is risky as most of the bike rental outfits aren't registered or licensed to commercially rent out vehicles.

So youngsters prefers driving their own bike from Mumbai to Goa. Here is list of essentials youngsters carry with them

Packing Essentials

o Walking shoes or sandals, Riding Shoes, Water-repellent long-sleeved jersey, Warm fleece jacket, Bike gloves and Bike sunglasses

o Maps, Lighter, Small flashlight or detachable bicycle battery headlight, LED red rear light with fresh batteries, Swiss army knife, Narrow duct tape, Helmet and First aid

Caution: Do You have Two Wheeler Insurance

Carry Two Wheeler Insurance in Necessary

Note that if you are stopped by the traffic cops, you will be fined if you do not have two wheeler insurance papers of your bike.

To be warned that many motorcyclists are killed on these roads of Goa every year.

Also two wheeler insurance papers are required for protection against legal liability due to accidental damages resulting in the permanent injury or death of a person, and damage caused to the surrounding property.
