OUTLINE FOR STORY PLOTS Charles Dickensy gave things to eat for Stuffy

every Thanksgiving Day, and he was trying to make a tradition of. However, he died of starvation because of his sympathy. Whereas, Stuffy died because he had had many feasts, so he was so full that he died at last.

CHARACTERCharacter Introduction

Stuffy Pete a. He used to sit in a fixed place

every year.b. Being rewarded with a feast of thanksgiving by an old man.c. He usually wore shabby and ragged clothes on Thanksgiving Day.d. Died of eating too much.

Charles Dickensy a. He led Pete to a restaurant for nine years.

b. He was thin and skinny with old clothes and glasses.

c. Wishing to have a son to succeed him and the tradition.

STORY PLOT Time: Every Thanksgiving Day for nine years. Place: Union Square

EVENTS (1) The story is about an old man and a person

called Stuffy Pete on Thanksgiving Day . Pete used to sit in a fixed place every year and being rewarded with a feast by an old man. But this time he was fed excessively with an old family originally. After eating, Pete was waiting for the old man who came to celebrate his annual thanksgiving with Stuffy.

EVENTS (2) The old gentleman was doing the same every

nine year, and he was wishing to have a son to succeed him and the tradition. So as every year Pete accepted his invitation to the feast. They went to the same diner, sat at the very table and ordered. Pete started the feast bravely in spite of being totally full.

EVENTS (3)

After getting parted as every year at the door, Pete collapsed around the corner and died of eating too much. Meanwhile the old man was taken to the hospital and died starvation.

CAUSE

The old man was wishing to have a son to succeed him and the tradition and did not have any relatives. He wanted to help more people, so he did not eat things for three days. At last, he died of starvation.

HOW?

The gentlemen in order not to let Pete suffer from starvation, he provided him a feast every Thanksgiving Day.

CONCLUSION

The story begins with some ironical facts about tradition of Thanksgiving Day. The old gentlemen followed the tradition to provide a feast to Pete so that he would not starve at all. However, the old man who was generous died of starvation. From this story, we thought that people have to ponder their ability of helping each other, or they may become the same person just like the old man.
