Two Door Cinema Club

Their album artwork is comprised of quite normal photographs taken in [presumably] their houses. This fits into the convention of indie music as having this “Home-Made” or garage band element to it.

The artwork also conforms to Laura Mulvey’s view of the Male Gaze. As you can see the female body is objectified in Two Door Cinema Club’s artwork. Indeed this is also present in other material from them such as their music video for What You Know.

Two Door Cinema Club in various pictures used for articles/interviews etc. They often wear bright colours, T-Shirts jeans and high-top shoes. They usually wear the same kind of thing, accentuating their image as a band.
