ASCA Crosswalk
These forms are tools which can be used to assist in planning overall counseling curriculum
The ASCA National Model Crosswalking Tools can be used to develop the appropriate scope and sequence for a guidance
curriculum. When implementing this tool correctly in a school system, there are major influences that can be utilized in
helping students.
This information is valuable in determining the correct area of competency when determining students focused goals. The
ASCA National Crosswalking Tool helps create a balanced of interventions that support, enhance and foster all areas of
development.

Development Process & Overview
A periodic review and renewal of Twinsburg City School District’s School Counseling Program is done in an effort to acknowledge
the counseling department who continue to support the academic growth, social/emotional development and career planning for all
students.
The domains of the counseling curriculum, counseling services and delivery are aligned with the American School Counselor
Association (ASCA) National Model. The foundation of the counseling program is built upon the belief that school counselors are
collaborative partners in creating a positive educational environment for supporting student achievement.
