IELTS Exam Preparation CourseA specialist exam preparation course for students taking the Cambridge IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination. IELTS is a recognised entrance requirement of British, Australian, New Zealand and Canadian universities.

This group course starts every Monday for elementary to intermediate level students and focuses on improving test-taking techniques and solving the specific language issues associated with IELTS:

•Speaking – Improving students’ ability to communicate effectively on a variety of topics they may be asked to discuss during a one-to-one exam interview.

•Listening – Familiarising students with a variety of natural English accents and providing students with active listening strategies.

•Writing – Teaching the academic writing skills required to complete independent and integrated writing tasks during the IELTS test.

•Reading – Coaching students in scanning and skim-reading for general meaning plus how to deduce meaning from context.

Our aim is to ensure students acquire the most effective exam techniques in these four skills areas.

Twin’s IELTS Preparation course includes:

Twin’s Level-6 Graduate Career Development Programme is designed to provide students with a globally-focused business education and significant career development skills. Students gain a Graduate Diploma, and benefit from a UK internship of vocational experience to greatly enhance career prospects.

The structure is two 12-week study semesters sandwiching a 24-week internship, which allows students to gain valuable vocational experience.

On the Twin Graduate CDP, students gain a Level-6 Graduate Diploma, awarded by the London Centre of Marketing.

Progression options are final year BA (Honours) in Marketing Management or BBA at various universities. Alternatively, students may progress on to an MBA or MA/MSc in Work Based Studies (Marketing).

Over 24 weeks, students have the option of studying courses in the following specialisations:

•Business Management and Marketing•Travel and Tourism Marketing•Public Relations and Marketing•Sales and Marketing Management•Human Resource Development and Marketing•Entrepreneurship and Marketing

A range of placements in London companies are available. Each placement provides students with tasks and projects focused on their field of study.

There are two choices for the internship placement depending on the student’s level of English and relevant experience in their chosen area.

Level 1: Unpaid Internship in a wide range of fieldsSuitable for students with Upper Intermediate level of English (IELTS 5.0 or equivalent).

Level 2: Internship with £800 stipend per month in selected placement fieldsSuitable for students with Advanced level of English* (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent) and relevant work experience in the chosen field.
