Twilight: Split families

Edwards’s pov:It was just another normal day at school,

me and my sisters had been hunting

before we had come to school. I had

caught a mountain lion while Rose and

Alice had caught a grizzly bear to sharebetween them because they weren’t

that hungry. I'm sorry about my manors

my name is Edward Cullen I live with my

dad Carlisle and my sisters Rose and

Alice Cullen and if you hadn’t guessedwe are vampires but we are

vegetarians, that means we don't hunt

humans. I go to Forks high school with

my sisters while my father works at the

hospital as a doctor.

We have been living in Forks for 3 years

now it has gotten really boring; there is

nothing to do!! It’s always the same, go

to school, and learn stuff that I have

been learning over and over again for



the past centuary. I mean its cool being

a know-it-all but you still get bored. And

if you hadn't noticed my family and I areall single which really isn't all that fun. I

mean I could go out with Rose or Alice

because they aren't my blood related

sisters but they feel like my sisters so it

would be weird. Alice and I both have apower; Alice can see the future while I

can read peoples thoughts which can be

fun at times.

Right now my sisters and I were sitting

at a table in the corner of the cafeteriaat school with trays full of untouched

food. I had read in peoples mind that

there were new students starting school

today. They were all a big family 1 girl

and 2 boys. I couldn't hear what theirnames were but I was sure that I would

see them when they came into the

cafeteria. Then that’s when I saw them

they were walking in through the doors

the 2 boys were in front so I could not



see the girl but I knew right away what

they were.....vampires.

Alice's thoughts:

Wow that blond guy is soooo

cute.....wait their vampires. How come I

didn't have a vision of them coming?

Rose's thoughts:Omg that big guy is hot!!! And he's a

vampire!! Wonder if he's got a

girlfriend?

Edwards’s pov:

I could hear all my sisters’ thoughts and

they were right in a way they were nice

looking. I mean a guy way but they

better be nice to my sisters if they do

decide to do anything. I decided I wouldlisten to their thought’s to see what they

were here for but I got a shock when I

heard.....nothing! Just then the boys

moved away and I saw the most perfect

face I’d ever seen in all my life.



Bella’s pov:

It was my first day at Forks high school.

Me and my family had moved here 2days ago because we had lived long

enough at our last home and people

were starting to notice that we weren't

aging, so yes that means we're

vampires. My name is Bella Swan and Ilive with my mum Esme Swan and my

big brothers Emmett and Jasper Swan.

We all live in a big house in the middle

of the woods, it is on the other side of

the motorway. If you take the motorwaythrough the trees you will come to a

crossroads on the left hand side there is

another road which I think leads to

another house but to get to my house

you take the right hand turning.

I had been a vampire for the last 50

years. All my family are older than me

they have been vampires longer than

me but I was the most powerful vampire

out of them, in fact I was probably the



most powerful vampire in the world. It’s

not because I’m super strong which I am

but not as strong as Emmett he is thestrongest vampire I’ve ever met and I’ve

met a lot of vampires. The reason I am

probably the most powerful vampire is

because of my powers. I can teleport,

control fire, water and earth. I can alsoread minds, throw any object with my

mind, freeze a whole room, hide my

scent and I have a physical and mental

shield. Most vampires are lucky that

they have at least 1 power but I havelots and keep finding new powers all the

time. My brother Jasper has a power too;

he can control people’s emotions.

Before my family met me which was

about 10 years ago now, I used to livewith the volturi. They are like the royal

family but for vampires and they are

very powerful. They have 3 kings, lots of

guards and the wives. They also have a

princess but she decided she did not



want to live with them anymore because

she met a family that she loved and she

wanted to live with them and yes thatgirl is me. Aro who is the main King

made me a vampire and I loved him

very much he was like my own father

but I got bored of living there and I

wanted to see the world.We were making our way to school in

my pink Ferrari I loved this car, it was

my baby. Everyone in my family had

their own car Esme had a red mini, she

didn’t want a fast car unlike my brothersand I. Jaspers had a blue Lamborghini

and Emmet had a green Srt8 Jeep. And

yes we are rich but no wonder Aro was

not going to send the Princess of the

volturi away with nothing! Anyway whenwe got into the school gates everyone’s

jaw drooped at the sight of my car and I

couldn’t help but grin to myself. Jasper

and Emmett just shook their heads and

laughed “Tomorrow we are taking my



Lamborghini.” “Jasper I don’t think it will

make a difference who’s car we go in we

still will attract attention.” I said with agrin still on my face, I don’t think the

boy’s liked driving about in my pink

baby it was to girlie for them.

We got through our first classes quite

easily I knew everything we had to learnso it wasn’t really that hard. When it

came to lunch I was quite glad I would

be able to see my brothers, I never had

them in my last class and I wanted to

see how they got on. They caught upwith me in the corridor on my way to

the lunch hall. They smiled down at me

and Emmett picked me up into 1 of his

big bear hugs. “How was your last class

sis?” Emmett asked me when he hadput me down. “Good I had PE so I was

good at that” Jasper and Emmett walked

in front of me to take the lead to the

cafeteria.



When we got in there it was pretty busy

so it was going to be hard to find a seat.

That’s when I heard lot’s of thoughtsgoing through my head....They must

be the new students.....Omg that

big guy is hot.......Wow that blond

guy is sooooo cute.......Wonder

where they used to comefrom........I can’t hear their

thoughts.......Vampires.....When I

heard someone say that word my head

shot up looking for the person who had

thought it, but I soon realized that mybrothers were blocking my view. “You

two move out the way!” I hissed through

my teeth, they both looked shocked at

how I had spook to them but they

moved out the way without anyquestions (wise of them) as they moved

that’s when I saw him. Sitting there in

the corner of the room looking

magnificent the most beautiful

man/vampire I’d ever seen! You could



tell that they had the same diet as my

family and I had, because of the color of

their eyes, really light brown. Sitting atthe table were 2 girl vampires a blond

and beautiful 1 who was staring at my

brother Emmett in awe and a pixie short

spiked hair 1 who had the same look on

her face but was staring at Jasper. Andthen there was the boy vampire who

had brown hair and the nicest face I’d

ever seen. By this time my brothers had

both noticed where I was staring at and

before I knew it I was making my wayover to the table.

Emmett’s thoughts:

Wow that blond girl is the sexiest person

I’ve ever seen, wonder if she’s single?

Jasper’s thoughts:

That dark haired girl looks amazing and

what makes it better is that she is a

vampire. Wonder if she’ll go out with

me?



Edward’s pov:

Their walking over to us....wow she is so

graceful it’s like she’s floating. She looksso amazing it’s like she’s glowing. “Hi

we’re the Swan’s, and you are?” Wow

even her voice makes her sound like

she’s singing. “We’re the Cullen’s.” I

said with a slight smile on my face.“Have a seat.” I said pointing to the 3

seats in front of me. She smiled at me

and took the seat next to me. The big

guy took the seat next to Rose and the

blond one took the seat next to Alice. Icould see the girls were happy with this

so that made me happy. I turned back

round to see the brown haired girl

sitting next to me and I couldn’t help

but smile at this, maybe she liked me, just then she smiled and nodded.

After a while I had learnt that the big

guy was called Emmett and the blond

one was called Jasper. And the girl was

called Bella. “So how long have you all



been vampires?” Alice asked while

sitting next to Jasper and holding his

hand; I guess they were a couple then;probably Rose and Emmett were a

couple now to since they couldn’t keep

their hands off each other. Bella looked

up from staring into my eyes and spoke

up “Well I’ve been a vampire for about50 years now and my brothers and our

mum have been vampires for about 80

years now, so yeah I’m the youngest.”

She gave a wee smile then went back to

looking at me. “Yeah but you could beatus all in a fight no problem.” Emmett

said with his big booming laugh. “True”

Bella said still looking at me. My sisters

and I looked a little confused by this

statement and I was the one whodecided to speak up. “What do you

mean by that?” “Well I have very

powerful friends and my powers are

more powerful than all of the volturi’s

powers put together.” She said this with



a big grin on her face. “Who are your

friends?” Rose took this question. “Well

you will all have heard of the princessIsabella Volturi haven’t you?” We all

nodded and she smiled and pointed to

herself. “I’m Isabella Volturi.” My sisters

and I all gasped and looked at her as if

she was a different person.Bella was still smiling and shaking her

head along with her brothers whilst my

sisters and I were still in shock. “Don’t

worry I’m nothing like my father Aro and

my uncles as you can see I only drink off animals and plus I’ve not lived with

them for about 10 years now.” I relaxed

a little bit after she said that and I could

see my sisters relax a bit to. I wonder

what powers she had that made thevolturi want her. “I can teleport, control

fire, water and earth. I can also read

minds, throw any object with my mind,

freeze a whole room, hide my scent and

I have a physical and mental shield. So



yeah I have a lot of powers so that’s

probably why they made me their

princess. But I got really bored of staying there and that’s when I met

Esme and these two.” She said pointing

to Emmett and Jasper. “And so I told my

father that I was leaving and there was

no way he could stop me.” Sheshrugged. “Wow you must have lots of

clothes.” I rolled my eyes typical Alice

always thinking about clothes. “Yeah

you two should both come round to

mine I have lots of clothes you coulduse.” Alice and Rose were practically

jumping in their seats and squealing.

Bella then turned to me and said. “You

can come to if you want.” She then

winked at me; if my heart was stillbeating it would have been going 500

mph.

Bella’s pov:

Everyone seemed to be over the shock

of me being the princess of the volturi.



So I was getting along really well with

them all and I could tell by the look on

both my brothers faces I could tell theywere smitten and to be honest so was I.

Edward was so gorgeous looking, he

was the sexiest looking man I’d ever

seen. I was flirting with him non-stop. I

could tell that he liked me because Icould hear his thoughts all he wanted to

do was pull me to him and kiss me. And

to be honest I wanted to do the same,

maybe when we were alone I would just

grab him and kiss him until we just hadto stop. I hadn’t realized how close I had

gotten to him I was so close that I could

easily just lean in and touch his lips but I

really didn’t want to have my first kiss

with him with my brothers watching me.So I just kept smiling at him whilst he

did the same.

There were about 5 minutes till the bell

to end lunch would go and I would have

to go to my next class. “What class are



you in next?” I asked Edward out of pure

curiosity. “Em....I think I’m in biology,

what about you?” “Same! What teacherhave you got?” “Mr. Begarnie. You?”

“Same!!” Maybe I would be lucky

enough and get to sit next to him, if the

teacher aloud it. Then the bell went and

we started making our way to class,Edward and I made our way to our class

hand in hand. We got to the end of the

corridor and walked into our class.

Edward took me to the front of the class

to see the teacher; everyone in the classstopped what they were doing and

stared at me. Most of the boys were

actually drooling on their shirts, and I

couldn’t help but laugh to myself ‘still

got it!’ “Hello you must be IsabellaSwan.” “Yes but please call me Bella.”

“Okay then Bella well I see that you

already know Mr. Cullen so why don’t

you sit next to him.” Yes!! I heard

Edward shout in my head. I turned my



head to him and smiled; if he could have

blushed he would have been bright red.

“Thank you.” I said to the teacher thenwalked to the back of the classroom and

took my seat next to Edward.

Edward and I passed notes to each

other all through the lesson. When the

bell finally rang we made our way to thecar park. There were lots of people

crowded round my baby when we finally

got to it. It was parked next to a silver

Volvo which looked like it did not belong

here just like my car. “Like my car?”Edward had seen me looking at the

Volvo. “That’s yours?” “Yep.” He said

this with a smug look on his face until

he saw me take out my keys for my car

and press the unlock button. My carflashed when it unlocked and Edward

just looked at me in shock. I just

laughed and walked up to my baby.

Everyone walked away when they saw

me walking up to get in. “So where do



you live?” Edward asked me. I explained

to him where I lived and found out that

he lived on the left hand side of theroad. That’s an easy run from my house

to his. Just then my brothers came over

to my car with their arms around Rose

and Alice’s waists and I couldn’t help

but smile at that, they have finally foundsomeone. “So do you all want to come

over to mine and we could all go

swimming in our pool or we could do

something else if you want.” I asked

them, since we had got our pool built inwe have never been able to go in it

because we’ve all been to busy either

unpacking or hunting. Edward’s face lite

up when I asked this and he was already

shouting YES YES YES!!! In his head. Buthe went for the cool look when he

spoke. “We would love to wouldn’t we

sisters.” They were to busy kissing my

brothers so I took that as a yes. Edward

and I just laughed at them until our eyes



locked but I wasn’t going to be kissing

him in the school parking lot. I walked

up to my brothers and dragged them bytheir shrits to my car I smile at Edward,

Rose and Alice and told them to follow

me to the house.

Edward’s pov:

My sisters and I all sat in my car and

that’s when the gossip started “So have

you kissed her yet? I know Emmett’s a

great kisser.” “She looks like she has

great fasion style I think we are going to

be great friends.” I rolled my eyes at

both their statements. I really wanted to

kiss her but I wasn’t going to be doing it

at school with my sisters watching us.

“And also did you see her car I mean I

would say it’s about as nice as mine,

probably is I just don’t want to admit it.”

Trust Rose to mention her car, i mean I

did get shock at her car but obviously

the princess of the volturi wouldn’t be

riding about in an old banger.



We followed her until it came to the

cross roads I was so used to turning left

I almost did turn left but just in time Iturned my wheel right. Driving down the

road through the trees we finally got to

this beutiful big white house just a bit

bigger than ours and you could tell that

a woman designed it. You could see theroom where they kept the swimming

pool it was in the shape of a big dome. I

cut out the engeine at the front of the

house and me and my sisters steped out

of the car. Bella, Jasper and Emmettcame up to us and they took my sisters

hands while I took Bella’s and we made

our way up the front steps into the

house.

The house looked even bigger from thein side, it had the same design that my

house had, a high roof with cravings of

flowers on it and stairs right at the

beginning of the hallway. Once my

sisters and I had finished looking round I



smelt a familier smell, my sisters had

noticed me sniffing and they soon

realised who it was. “Hello kids have agood day at school?” Carlisle asked

when he came into the room holding a

brunette womans hand. “Esme who’s

this?” Bella asked walking up to the

woman who I now know that it is hermum. “Kids this is Carlisle he works at

the hospital where I work. He came over

because he said that his childrn had

phoned him sying they were stopping

off at a friends who I now know thatyou’s are the friends.” She said this with

a big grin on her face, I think she was

smitten. “Okay mum, this is Edward,

Rose and Alice.” She said then she

walked up to my dad and held out herhand which he took gladly.” “Hello I’m

Bella and these are my brothers Jasper

and Emmett.” Her brothers walked up to

my dad and shook his hand. Then I

thought it was my turn to introduce



myself to her mum. I walked up to Esme

and shook her hand. “Hello I’m Edward

and these are my sisters Alice andRose.” They walked up to her and gave

her hug.

Bella’s pov:

Once we sat in the living room for a

while I decided it was time to get away

from the adults and just have me and

him time. So I decided I would take him

up to my room so we could talk :p I had

let my sheild down so he could hear

what I was thinking and at that point his

head snapped up and he was on his feet

in seconds with me behind him. Emmett

and Rose had already left and so had

Jasper and Alice so it was just me,

Edward and the parents but at that

point Edward and I were already on our

way to my room.

My room was on the top floor, out of

hearing range. When we were making



our way up the stairs we had to walk

past Emmett’s room where we heard

ALOT of screaming and grunting comingfrom both Emmett and Rose. I just rolled

my eyes and kept on walking with

Edward at my side. We got to the 4th

floor and walked to the end of the

corridor. My bedroom door had a smallsign saying Bella’s room written on it,

my mother had bought me it so I could

hardly say no. I opened the and

gestured for Edward to come in, he

gladly acepted. My room had akingsized bed in the middle of my room

with purple sparkley covers on it. I also

had a black corner sofa in my room with

dark pink pillows on it. On the other side

of my room were double doors leadingto my walk-in closet which I loved.

I lead Edward to my sofa where he sat

down and I took the space right next to

him. He put his arm round my waist and

I turneed round to face him, just then



his lips were crushing against mine. It

was like there was an electric curant

running through our lips whilst wekissed; it was amazing. His tounge

brushed against my bottom lip asking

for permission to enter which I gladly

aloud. Our tounges went together like a

jigsaw puzzle it was amazing. My handsmade their way up to his longish hair,

whilst his made their way down to my

top and started unfasining my buttons.

After my top was off I just lost it and

ripped off his shirt, he let out a lowgrowl inn pleasure. With that I jumped

onto his lap and straddled him still not

detatching my lips from his. Before I

knew what was happening I was being

carried over to my bed by Edward.Edward’s pov:

I could not believe that I was having sex

with the most beutiful woman in the

world, this was just too amazing it

had to be a dream. Kissing her was



like heaven I could not believe what I

had been missing. We made love all

night until it was time for me to gohome and get ready for school. I

really didn’t want to go home; I just

wanted to stay with Bella forever.

She could see my reluctance so she

made our kiss even more passionateif that were posible. “Come it’s my

first week at school I can’t just take

my second day off.” She said with a

smug look on her face. “Yeah.....I

guess.” I said looking her over onemore time before getting up and

finding the remains of my clothes.

“Sorry about your shirt,” She was

already dressed and leaning over me

looking at my destroyed clothes “I’llgo get you some from Jasper’s room;

you look about the same size as him.

And with that she was out of the

room. I went to sit down on her bed

when I saw a photograph in a blue



frame on her bedside table. It was a

picture of her with Aro, Caius and

Marcus all looking like a happyfamily.

Balla walked back in the room with a

pair of black jeans and a blue shirt

with a pattern on it. I took them off

her and gave her a kiss on the cheekbefore I started getting ready.

Bella and I made our way to school in

her pink Ferrari, I didn’t really feel

very manly in this car I would have

much rather went in the blue

lamborghini but I found out Jasper

was taking Alice to school in that

whilst the Jeep was being used by

Emmett for him to take Rose to

school in. And the was needed for

Esme to get to work in. Plus I seen

how much Bella loved this car and I

didn’t want to upset her. I had to

admit they had smart cars just as

cool as ours. My father had a black



volkswagen cc, Rose had a white m3

convertible and Alice had a yellow

porsche 911. So yeah we liked fastcars to.

We drove into the school grounds and

everyone’s eyes were on Bella’s car,

but no wonder since everyone else

had cars that their greatgrandparents used to drive. Bella

parked in the same spot where she

had paarked yesterday. About 2

minutes after Jasper drove in, in his

car and I swear to god atleast 10boys almost fainted at the sight of

the car. Emmett was still busy with

Rose when Bella and I left to go to

school, so they would probably be

late.

Bella and I were making our way back

from the office, we had been to see if

we could get more classes together

we managed to get 3 other classes

together PE, Geography and Music. I



was glad that we were in music

together I really wanted to hear her

play the piano she had said that shewas really good. I played piano

aswell and I was quite good at it.

Right now I was making notes in my

head to write a song about Bella but

I don’t really know what to call it.My first class this morning is Biology and

Bella is in that class with me so its

not so bad, I could actually start to

like school now since Bella is here.

We were walking hand in hand toclass when all of a sudden Bella

grabs me by the waist and we were

teleported back to her room. She

started kissing me with all her might

I started to kiss her back. Shemaking a trail of kisses all the way

down my jaw. “ Why did we come

back? I thought you wanted to go to

school.” She leaned back to look into

my eyes. “I did but then I realised I



was not quite finished with you yet.”

She said with a sexy smile. With that

I grabbed her legs and rapped themaround my waist and started kissing

her neck. Her hands reached down to

my trousres and undid my belt I cold

feel my bulge start to get bigger. I

had enough of her teasing and flungher on the bed with me on top of her

in seconds. She quickly undid my

shirt trying not to rip it but she didn’t

do a very good job. We were both

naked and ready in seconds. Withone large thrust I was inside her, it

felt like I had never left.

After about 3 hours of constant love

making we finally decided to get up

so we could go and hunt. I had toadmit I wasn’t really that thristy but

Bella had said she was and I only

wanted to give her what she wanted.

We got up off the bed but I still could

not keep the masive smile off my



face as I watched her dress, she was

just so beutiful with her long wavy

brown hair that even though we hadbeen very messy for the past 3 hours

it still looked like she had just

finished brushing it.

We finally got dressed and headed down

stairs. Emmett and Rose were still inhis room, I could guess by the

grunting and screaming. We made

our way out into the forrest behind

Bella’s house it was the same forrest

my family and I hunt in. I could tellthat this was Bella’s first time

hunting in these woods because I

could not smell any of her scent to

follow, but even still she found her

way through the trees as if she hadbeen hunting here for decades. “Did

you ever live here before?” I asked

her but it was stupid of me to ask

because ofcourse she hadn’t she has

been staying with the Volturi all of



her life. “Yes I have but only when I

was human and that was about 50

years ago just before I was turned.Some of my family still live here

though but they probably will not

reconise me. And I also have a really

good friend that will be alive living in

La Push.” We had been running but Ifroze to my spot when I heard her

say this. The only people that live in

La Push are werewolves or are

related to werewolves. “Don’t worry I

know they are werewolves but hehad been my friend for years in fact

more than my friend.....he was my

first.” I let a low growl escape my

mouth. How could the woman who I

was falling inlove with have sleptwith a werewolf. “Your falling inlove

with me?!” Damn I had forgotten she

could read minds too; now I know

how it feels. I shifted my gaze so I

was looking her in the eyes and



nodded. I smile I had never seen

before crossed her face and then she

was kissing me. She pulled back andlooked me in the eyes and said the

three words I had been waiting to

hear my whole life. “I love you.” I

smiled the biggest grin you could

ever make. “I love you too.” And withthat our hunting trrip was canceled

and we found something more

pleasurable to do.

Once we had finished we made our way

to find something to eat Bella founda black bear which she said was her

favourite whilst I found my favourite,

mountain lion. Bella looked so

graceful when she hunted she was

an amazing creature. I was still nothappy at the idea of Bella having sex

with a mutt but that is water under

the bridge.

We decided to go to my house for a

change because I really wanted to



show her my home. Plus I wanted to

play a song that I remembered in my

head on my piano. We got to myhouse about 2 minutes later and

walked in to find the house was

empty. I walked her shraight into the

living room where my piano sat. It

was a beutiful dark blue piano I lovedit, it was my child! Bella laughed oh

crap she must have heard me, she

nodded. I walked he over to my

piano where I took a seat and she

took one next to me on the bench. Ilet my fingers trail along the keys

then I started playing. The tune just

flowed out of me and I had to admit

it was really nice.

Bella’s pov:

Edward had taken me to his house; it

was beautiful, just about the same

size as my house and had the same

designs on the roof. He waalked me

over to his piano and sat down on his



bench. I had taken the seat next to

him at thaat moment he started

playing. It was magnificent, heplayed through the whole song 2

times then he stopped and turned to

me I must have had the biggest

smile on my face. “So...what did you

think?” “That was...amazing!” Hissmile that he had on grew even

bigger and he let out a sigh of relief.

“I’m glad you think so because it is

your song.” I gasped in surprise then

I let my smile grow even bigger. Then I leaped for him and landed on

his lap. “Thank you!” I forced my lips

against his and put as much pasion

in as I posibly could. Once we broke

away from the kiss Edward had atriumphant grin on his face. “I knew

you’d like it. Do you wnt to know

what it is called?” “Yes!!!” I almost

shouted. He laughed but answered

anyway. “It’s called Bella’s lullaby.”
