Outdoor oor lamp with direct down light. Di user and rod made of breglass-based composite material and liquid coated. The di user is made of ribbons ofcomposite material manually plied onto the mould, and the overlapping tapescreate the woven surface that is subsequently hand-coated. An additional layer ofribbon to complete the di user covers the lower and upper edges. A laser-engraved transparent PMMA sheet in the middle catches and di uses the lightemitted by the multichip LEDs installed along the perimeter of the aluminiumframe which acts as a dissipator. An additional opaline PMMA disc screens thelight. Round base in polyester powder coated metal for guaranteed superiorresistance to UV rays, to the weather and to chemicals. Electrical cable coated inblack neoprene for outdoor use, transformer on the cable, tted with a Schukoplug and terminal board without push-button panel.

Foscarini and Marc Sadler’s shared passion for research into new technologies has given rise to Twiggy, the iconic arched oorlamp which is available in an entire collection of lamps made of composite material on a lacquered breglass base. For outdooruse, the project has been completely redesigned in the lighting components and the aesthetics of the di user, which becomeswoven in the outdoor Grid version. The reading and XL table version stand out for the successful synthesis of absolute formalsimplicity and strong personality: using the same di user and the same base as the oor lamp, and a rod that developsvertically. Available in two colours to match with di erent settings.

Marc Sadler boasts lengthy experience asan industrial designer in the eld of sports,which has often led him to experiment withnew materials and innovative productionprocesses.
