Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

A few days ago we ended our annual "Parish Carnival". Today I wish to express my immense gratitude first to the "Good Lord" for the gift of beautiful weather for all the days of the carnival. God really loves us and cares about us as best as possible. These past days convinced us of this. May God be glorified! In addition, I am very grateful for the care of God over everyone who has been with us these wonderful days. Let us always remember that all of us here at St. Albert the Great in Burbank create a community of faith, hope, love, trust and joy, in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Despite the differences in language, culture, and traditions we imitate and follow Jesus. To those who do not feel this yet, and do not understand, I urge you to change your heart and mind. Our Parish invites you to come join us next year at our festivities! The words of gratitude go to the Parish Carnival Committee, who met each month and planned a parish feast hoping for the best results. Every year we change something for the better. I thank the Carnival Committee for their loyalty and commitment to serving our beloved parish. For the shortcomings, I apologize and I promise improvement. Please note - that it is not all about us, much depends on the people who surround us. Some circumstances are not foreseen. Thank you to all our sponsors. I will post a special thank you to them in the near future. A special thank you to the Mayor of Burbank - Mr. Dan Foy for his extreme cooperation, concern, interest and additional parking. Thank to the Burbank Police and Fire Department for its enormous care and persistent monitoring of the security of our Parish Carnival. Thank you to All who helped with the carnival: the volunteers, restaurants, technical support, bands, parish staff and everyone who participated. To those who won prizes sincere congratulations! I will inform everyone about the profit from our annual Parish Carnival as soon as it becomes available. At last, but not least I would like to thank the following people who financially supported the project to purchase the

Special Religious Development Program is a parish-based program and serves people with Down syndrome,

Cerebral palsy, Autism, Epilepsy, hyperactivity, etc. Program is offered in four age groups: children 6-10 years, teens

11-16years, young adults 17-21 years, and adults 22 years old and older. Parents/guardians interested in the program

please contact the undersigned. Program SPRED is looking for volunteers for New School Year to help during sessions,

as well as catechists interested in leading the program. No experience is needed. SPRED offers a short training as well

as ongoing formation during the sessions. Volunteers must be 21years old or older.

bonding as a staff in a retreat held at the

center together with St. Symphorosa school.

Z biurka Ks. Proboszcza Moi Kochani Bracia i Siostry!

Kilka dni temu zakończyliśmy nasz coroczny „Parafialny Karnawał”. Dziś pragnę wyrazić moją ogromną

wdzięczność najpierw „Dobremu Panu Bogu” za dar pięknej pogodny we wszystkie dni Karnawału. Bóg nas naprawdę

kocha i troszczy się o nas jak najlepiej. Przekonaliśmy się o tym w te wspaniałe dni. Niech będzie za to Bóg uwielbiony!

Ponadto jestem bardzo wdzięczny za opiekę Bożą i opiekę św. Alberta Wielkiego nad wszystkimi, którzy byli z nami w te

rodzinne i cudowne dni. Pamiętajmy zawsze, że wszyscy tutaj u „Alberta Wielkiego w Burbank” tworzymy wyjątkową w

Diecezji Chicago wspólnotę wiary, nadziei, miłości, ufności i radości. Pomimo różnic języka, kultury i tradycji naśladujemy

oraz podążamy za Jezusem, a nie za swoimi „widzi mi się”. Tym, którzy tego jeszcze nie czują i nie rozumieją zachęcam do

przemiany serca i umysłu oraz zapraszam na przyszły rok! Kościół to wspólnota, a nie samotna i bezludna wyspa!

Po Panu Bogu należy podziękować ludziom. Słowa wdzięczności kieruję więc do Komitetu Parafialnego

Karnawału, którzy co miesiąc spotykali się i planowali parafialne święto, aby przyniosło jak najlepsze korzyści.

Co roku coś zmieniamy na lepsze i za każdym razem uczymy się oraz stajemy się mądrzejsi o kolejne doświadczenia.

Dziękuję Komitetowi Karnawału za lojalność, bezinteresowność, a także za służbę dla dobra naszej ukochanej parafii. Za

niedociągnięcia przepraszam i obiecuję wraz z Komitetem Karnawału poprawę. Proszę pamiętać, że nie wszystko zależy

od nas. Wiele zależy od ludzi, którzy nas otaczają i którzy czasem stwarzają nieprzewidzianą wcześniej „niespodziankę”.

Dziękuję wszystkim naszym sponsorom do których w najbliższym czasie wyślę specjalne listowne podziękowanie. Bardzo

dziękuję burmistrzowi naszego miasta Burbank Mr. Dan Foy za wzorcową współpracę, troskę, zainteresowanie oraz

dodatkowy parking. Dziękuję Policji i Straży Pożarnej naszego miasta za ogromną troskę i mozolne oraz wytrwałe

czuwanie nad bezpieczeństwem naszego karnawału. Dziękuję wszystkim tym, którzy pomagali przy karnawale, a więc

woluntariuszom, restauracjom i punktom gastronomicznym, obsłudze technicznej, zespołom muzycznym, pracownikom

parafii oraz wszystkim WAM, którzy w karnawale uczestniczyli tak bardzo licznie. Wszystkim tym, którzy wygrali nagrody

z szczerze gratuluję! Po zapłaceniu wszystkich rachunków poinformuję was o dochodach z naszego corocznego Parafialnego

Karnawału.

I na koniec chcę także podziękować kolejnym ofiarodawcom, którzy finansowo wsparli projekt zakupu figury Pana

Jezusa z dziećmi. Słowa wdzięczności kieruję więc do: SPRED Program 2019, Stanisława Stękała, Irena & Józef Rapciak,

INAGURACJA NOWEGO ROKU SZKOLNEGO 2019-20

Odbędzie się w piątek 6 września 2019 uroczystą Mszą świętą o godzinie 4:30 pm rozpoczniemy

kolejny rok szkolny. (Podczas Mszy św. odbędzie się poświęcenie tornistrów

i przyborów szkolnych dla zerówki i klasy pierwszej). Po Mszy św. będzie miało miejsce spotkanie rodziców z

wychowawcą. Regularne zajęcia do godziny 8:00 pm, a Klasy Licealne do 8:30 pm.

W sobotę 7 września 2019 rozpoczynamy rok szkolny również Mszą Św., następnie spotkanie

rodziców z wychowawcą klasy. Zajęcia dla uczniów do godziny 2:00 pm. Życzmy Bożego błogosławieństwa

wszystkim: uczniom, wychowawcom, katechetom oraz rodzicom w nowym roku szkolnym!
