First Reading Daniel 7:13-14

As the visions during the night continued, I saw one like a Son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; when he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him, the one like a Son of man received dominion, glory, and kingship; all peoples, nations, and languages serve him. His dominion is an everlast-ing dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed.

Responsorial Psalm Refrain: The Lord is King, the most high over all the earth, the Lord is King. Second Reading Revelation 1:5-8

Jesus Christ is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead and ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, who has made us into a kingdom, priests for his God and Father, to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming amid the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. All the peoples of the earth will la-ment him. Yes. Amen. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, "the one who is and who was and who is to come, the almighty."

Gospel John 18:33b-37

Pilate said to Jesus, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus an-swered, "Do you say this on your own or have others told you about me?" Pilate answered, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?" Jesus answered, "My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom did belong to this world, my attend-ants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not here." So Pilate said to him, "Then you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say I am a king. For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice."

Gathering Song: To Jesus Christ, Our Sovereign King 1. To Jesus Christ, our sov'reign King, who is the world's salva tion, All praise and homage do we bring and thanks and adoration. Christ Jesus, Victor! Christ Jesus, Ruler! Christ Jesus, Lord and Redeemer! 2. To you, and to your church, great King, we pledge our heart's oblation; Until before your throne we sing in endless jubila tion. Christ Jesus, Victor! Christ Jesus, Ruler! Christ Je sus, Lord and Redeemer!

The Gloria: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Song During The Preparation Rite: Jesus, Remember Me Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

Song during Communion: Worthy Is The Lamb Refrain Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive honor and glory. Worthy are the ones who believe to receive the goodness of God. 1. Worthy are you, O Paschal Lamb. Wisdom and strength belong now to you. You laid down your life and died upon the cross: We’ve become a people of hope. 2. Worthy are you, O Bread of Life. Salvation and joy belong now to us. By conquering death and rising to new life, We’ve be come a people of praise. 3. Worthy are you, O Risen Christ. Wonders and signs, revealing your might. Your power and glory shine upon our lives: We’ve become your light for the world.

Song As We Go Forth: Crown Him With Many Crowns 1. Crown him with many crowns, the Lamb upon his throne; All kingdoms of the earth resound in praise of him alone. Awake, my soul, and sing of him who died for thee, And hail him as thy risen King for all eternity. 2. Crown him the Lord of heav’n, where angels sing above; Crown him the King, to whom is giv’n the wondrous name of Love. Crown him with many crowns, as thrones before him fall. Throughout the earth his praise resounds for he is Lord of all.

The Nicene Creed: I believe in God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, death, and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scrip-tures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Fa-ther. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Dear Parishioners,

Today we celebrate the feast of Christ the King which is the last Sunday of our Liturgical year. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to God for all blessings, to all of you for generously sharing your faith, time and talents to make our Holy Family Parish a more prayerful and welcoming place to be proud of.

First, I want to give thanks to you for practicing your faith personally and especially as a Parish Community. It always gives me great pleasure to celebrate Sacraments, especially the Sacrament of the Eucharist. We celebrate with joy and in the spirit of fraternity which makes our parish very special. I give thanks to all the clergy, Fr. Charlie, Fr. Fred, Bishop Arthur and Deacon Pete for their dedication to the spiritual life of our community. I am also grateful to Bruce Danishek and his team of Communion Ministers,Al Alonso and his group of Lectors, our beautiful choir under the direction of Randy Hertzog, and our Decoration committee, all who make our liturgy a more joyful experience. A special thanks to Joelyn Hoferer, who coordinates our Ministry to the Homebound and Assisted Living facilities.

We are very blessed for the many service organizations and volunteers here at Holy Family who volunteer tirelessly. This includes Bob McCoy who coordinates the counting teams, Valerie McCoy who records collections, the Knights of Columbus - Dr. McDowell Council, (Edward Kopec) for all they do for our church and community. In addition, I give thanks to the Rosarians, the Prolife Minis-try and their Director Frank Tinari, the Food Pantry run by Anne Platoff and Sharon Carr. I also want to mention Karen Casolaro, founder of Halos for Angels who helps so many people in life challenging situations. Thank you to our Women’s SALT group who continued to meet during COVID using Zoom. Thank you for all your dedication and availability.

Always, a very important mission in every parish is Faith Formation, building our future, sharing Faith with children and the youth. A special thanks to Anne Giedlinski our CCD Director and our Faith Formation Director, Dr. Suzanne Herold, and all of our CCDteachers.

I give thanks to our Holy Family School Director Mary Smith, along with Assistant Director Toni Fiori and Tammy Zebick our school bookkeeper and all of our school staff. I am sure you feel as proud as I do, for the opportunity of being involved in the education of our children. This year we have 64 children. Our school program begins with Tiny Tots (2 ½ year old’s) PreK3, PreK4, Bridge to Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

I also give thanks to all Parish Staff especially Linda Sullivan our Office Administer, and Celeste Walsh, Office Administer Emeritus, who continues to help us. I am not bragging but I consider our parish staff to be one of the best in the Diocese. And lets not forget the volunteers who, launder purificator's and sew the baptism bibs.

I give you thanks for all your generous financial support both with envelopes and online giving. I want to mention that even if you’re unable to attend Mass you always remember to contribute using online giving or mail in and drop off your donation, I am always amazed that you continue to ask how you can help financially to support potential parish projects.

As you know last year, we installed a new HVAC sanitizing system in our church. Renovations were made to the school’s second floor, which is used for CCD classes, and many small improvements on our property. Our next project, is to renovate the church interior. I want to thank the Finance Committee and Bookkeeper, Robyn Morris for their invaluable advice.

Thank you all, for answering our questionnaire and expressing your opinions about service in our parish and new ideas for the future. Your feedback is very precious to me, and useful to our staff to help make improvements. The overall general feedback is that you are very happy with our parish and you appreciate all that we do, but there always room for improvement.

Entrusting ourselves, our families and our Holy Family Parish to God, let’s continue our joyful journey of our Faith, helping each other with love.

God blessFr. Thomas
