How long should clients/patients be allowed to be on opiate suppressing medications?

Which medications should be used? Suboxone, Vivatrol, Naloxone or methadone?

Should these clients be given Naltraxone to be used in case of overdose? Does this promote irresponsible behavior on the part of the addict?

What does this mean? When treatment studies are done on programs

why do the designers of the studies constrict the parameters of what clients can and cannot do? Is this reasonable?
