The EURO LIGHT range of product covers a wide range of POLE OPERATED PANTOGRAPHS (Single Point Hoists) providing a highly versatile manual suspension system for both large and small television and film studios. The EURO LIGHT Pantographs with their spigot mounting can be supported on barrel hoists, fixed grids or rolling grids, so as to suite any studio application. Individual adjustment of vertical and horizontal luminaire position can be achieved via an operating pole from the studio floor. The gear box allows for a lift of 41mm per pole revolution in normal manual pole use. The rigging time can be further reduced using an assisted Motorized Pole via the specifically designed Yellow Command Bell Cup (1). This cup keeps the pole centered and vibration free during the high speed movement thus allowing it to be operated in complete safety.
The two 2mm diam. 1770N/mm2 steel wire ropes winding around helical drums keep the ropes away from any risk of cross winding and allow perfect alignment during operation. This, combined with the light weight yet robust extendable chassis, provides a secure and perfect stability at any working height The flexible design allows for up to 10 different travel arrangements from a minimum extension of 2.20m to a maximum extension of 5.00m.
MMMaaannnuuuaaalll The EURO LIGHT Manual Pantographs can be rigged with different sizes of luminaires up to 40kg,and de-rigged quickly and safely with no need to re-balance the pantograph each time. Motorized Pantographs
The EURO LIGHT Motorized Pantographs via their spigot mounting can be supported on barrel hoists, fixed grids or on rolling grids so as to fit any studio application. The control of the motor is achieved by an onboard ON/OFF rotary control switch located near the motor. Using the Command Bell Cup, the switch can be controlled via pole operation. The vertical positioning of the luminaire is achieved via an integrated UP/DOWN push button located on the head of the unit.
The EURO LIGHT Motorized Pantographs have adjustable top limit and bottom limit switches. They also have a thermal sensor (breaker) for overload detection, can be rigged with different sizes of luminaires up to 40kg and de-rigged quickly and safetly with no need to re-balance the devices each time. The EURO LIGHT Manual Lift Hoist combined with appropriate accessories can be supported on grid systems or ceiling mounted directly. This makes the unit extremely versatile allowing low cost solutions for small and medium size television and film studios. The unit is divided into two sections : • a stationary section which houses the drive mechanism composed of a centrally positioned reduction gear box (self locking) and winding drums assembly (with four 5mm diameter steel ropes). • a 2 + 2 diverter pulley assembly positioned at the outer ends of the unit allowing a secure and stable operation at all working levels. The allowed standard working load is 120kg . The vertical positioning is achieved via an operating pole (both manual or motorized) from the studio floor via the special yellow command bell cup located below the drive mechanism (lift of 40mm per pole revolution). The lift time can be reduced to a minimum using the motorized pole option as the yellow command bell cup permits the pole to be centered and vibration free during its high speed operation. The mobile section is composed of a flexible aluminum arm (connector strip) allowing a minimum extension of 3m to a maximum extension of 6m. This is connected to the distribution bar assembly which is 2.5m in length allowing for up to 6 wiring circuits.

A specially designed aluminum square lighting beam supplied in either 3m or 6m lengths can be applied to the distribution bar. The design permits rolling carriages to be fitted or removed easily during the rigging of the unit. The EURO LIGHT motorized self climbing hoist combined with appropriate accessories can be supported on specifically designed grid systems or directly mounted on the ceiling structure. This makes the unit extremely versatile allowing low cost solutions for medium and large size television and film studios. The unit is divided into two sections : • a fixed beam profile which supports the hoist system to the building structure or grid structure. • the flexible aluminum arm (connector strip) is available in two lengths (6m and 12m). This travelling section is connected to an electrical distribution box (on the fixed beam profile) and to the main body which is the mobile section (LIFT). The allowed standard working load is 150kg . The main body structure incorporates the complete gear motor : motor control, mechanical and electronic travel limit controls, winding drums, four steel rope assemblies and diverter pulley assemblies. The lower portion of the structure contains the main profile which in itself is the electrical distribution bar assembly available in 2.5m and 6m lengths. This will allow a minimum of 2 and up to a maximum of 6 wiring circuits. A specially designed aluminium square lighting beam section is integrated within the main profile. It permits rolling carriages to be fitted or removed easily during the rigging of the unit. The complete system is self-sustaining in both static and dynamic conditions, thus reducing the maintenance requirements to a minimum.

The EURO LIGHT Motorized Grid (LIFT) Hoist is generally used in large television and film studios where height and heavier loads are a must. This hoist is specifically designed to be used on heavy duty grid systems or directly mounted on the ceiling structure. The unit is divided into two sections : • the fixed main body structure which incorporates the complete gear motor, motor control, mechanical and electronic travel limit controls, winding drums, four steel rope assemblies and diverter pulley assemblies. • the mobile section which is made up of the aluminum arm (Connector Strip), available in either 6m or 12m lengths and the LIFTING SECTION which is the electrical distribution panel (allows for 2 to a maximum of 6 circuits). The standard hanging barrel (steel tube diameter 50mm) is positioned directly under the distribution panel. It is supplied in either 2.5 or 4m closed lengths. Sliding extensions made of steel tube diameter 45mm can also be ordered so as to have extra hanging space on both ends of the barrel if needed. The allowed standard working load is 180kg . The hanging barrel is designed to fit the barrel trolley with brake (on request). The allowed standard working load is 50kg. The complete Motorized Grid (LIFT) Hoist system does not exceed 190kg in maximum weight.
