A little princess has to dream big.
When I was three years old I discovered the magic of dance, and I continued to dance my way through grade school, high school, and college.
The first tutu I ever made was for one of my performances, and I continued to make tutus throughout the years. When my first daughter was born, I made a tutu for her, and then for my friends with new babies. What started out as simply my hobby soon led to special orders from a local children’s boutique. After my second daughter was born I found myself making tutus so often, I started a business and trademarked the name Tutu Couture®. I chose the name because of its meaning— I was making couture tutus: custom tutus made to order. My dreams were becoming a reality!
Things took off quickly. I used all my resources, recruiting friends and family members to help fill the orders. What had started out as a love for children, dance, and fashion became my own unique brand of tutu. The design is something I created years ago, and one I’ve seen copied time and again. But you know what they say about imitation: it is the sincerest form of flattery.
Our business has continued to grow, and with this growth comes change. Today we have a new corporate structure in place, and it’s time to reintroduce you to the new Tutu Couture®. Our commitment to bringing you the same tutus you have grown to know and love over the years is as strong as ever. We will continue to be the premier children’s costume brand in the world. We will also be adding to our line and continuing to build our solid brand.
