The weather didn’t stop this fall festive event from

being a semester highlight! Students headed out to

Shantz Family Farm where they could enjoy a day full

of  pumpkin picking, a wonderful candid fall

photoshoot, and a free meal! Not to mention,

AHSSIES all got to bring home a couple gourds to

spruce up their home decor.

You know what’s better than good food?  Good food

that is cheap.  And that’s exactly what 40+ AHS

students got to experience during the annual AHSSIE

hop.  This year, AHSSIES hopped from the Pub on King

to the Huether Hotel and finally Stark & Perri, where

they ate everything from nachos to spinach dip.

This year, AHSSIES had the opportunity to learn more

about what is happening within the AHS community

and ways to get involved.  The AHS expansion foyer

was transformed into a networking hub with booths

featuring projects, programs and initiatives geared

towards AHS students.  The involvement fair also

featured a program sweater pop up shop, which sold

out in record time.

The slumber party theme of this year's EOT bash

had AHSSIES coming out in the comfiest of PJs to

enjoy the free food, music and a good dance.

This Bomber event was a perfect end to the

semester and break to kick us off into exam

season!

Finals season can be tough, so this year AHSUM put

together a de-stress week to help alleviate any stress

students were facing.  From an animal farm to a movie

night and yoga to board games, the week consisted of

plenty of fun, stress-free events for AHS students to

take part in.

It’s all in the name; students got to

hang out with their favourite profs

and mingle with fellow AHSSIES

at Pint & Pops with Profs. All of

this over some delicious finger

food, courtesy of AHSUM, what’s

not to love?

AHS students had the chance to drop in

and play board games in the fishbowl

between classes. The cafe provided

students with a chill afternoon filled with

snacks, refreshments and some killer

board games. With all things considered,

the board games left AHSSIES feeling

anything but bored.
