• NSCB Resolution No. 8 – 1999 – As an omnibus mechanism of the government to set appropriate acceptable standards of accuracy, integrity, timeliness and accessibility of government statistics

• By providing all appropriate metadata, appraising accuracy of data using statistical measures, keeping users informed of revisions and changes in methodology, etc.





Data archivingto ensure the preservation, systematic storage and retrieval of the statistical data including records on their methodology, concepts and other metadata

• NSCB Resolution No. 11-2002 - Sets policies and guidelines on data archiving for the Philippine Statistical System

Statistics Promotion/Communication Program

to create the need and/or promote the appreciation and educate the data users including the distributors on the proper utilization of available statistical information and services
