How to stay below grade andunder budget.

yrntroducing Toro's new 610 Seriesgear-driven rotary sprinkler, theideal choice for sportsfields, parks

and other public installations. With a45'to 58'watering radius, it offersmany of the same highly attractivefeatures as our top-of-the-line 640—ata much more attractive price.

Safety and vandal-resistance.A strong combination.

Like our 640, the 610 is one ofthe safest sprinklers around. It can beinstalled up to 1/2" below grade, andhas a surface diameter of only 2-3/8"Which greatly reduces the chance oftripping or injury.

It's also extremely vandal-resistant. Thanks to a thick, sturdyone-piece housing that surrounds allparts from the nozzle to the gear box. It's tough enough to withstand a directkick to the nozzle while the sprinkleris operating. And a powerful, stainlesssteel retraction spring assures positivepop-down and resists prying up.

More high performance features. The 610 features Toro's proven

gear-driven design. So you can counton smooth, quiet operation. Plus, itspowerful brass and plastic gears pro-vide added strength to withstand highpressure surges.

including a full 4"pop-up to clear tallgrasses. A standard check valve thatprevents puddling. And a 25% re-ducible watering radius for greaterflexibility in design and installation.

So when you need a reliable, affordable below-grade sprinklerhead for medium to large turf areas, don't settle for anything less than theToro 610. It offers top-of-the-lineperformance that fits your bottom line.

For more information, contactyour local Toro dealer, or Toro at5825 Jasmine St., Riverside, CA92504.(714)688-9221.

We've designed the 610 with anew seal for better performance. Itseals tightly against a non-rotatingsurface. Requires less flush to keep outdebris. And helps eliminate stick-upproblems in virtually every soilcondition.

The 610 has got even more extras,

The condition of theplaying field contributesas much to major league

performance as theconsummate skills of the

ballplayers. Dodgergroundskeepers choose the

Ransomes Motor 180 to provide thesuperb finish needed for a true

bounce, a consistent roll and the surefooting required for championshipplay. Precision mowing at cuttingheights from %" to 3" offers the

flexibility to accommodate varyingweather conditions and the 71"

cutting width makes short work ofgrooming the power alleys. Andthat's grounds for seeing your
