HISTORY

• About 1850 to now, Turceni is an important center of economic, agriculture and commercial life.

• The first document about this city was written in 1499.

• Since 15 may 2004, on presence of Parliament, Government, Prefecture and Consul of Targu Jiu, they declared Turceni a city.
