External bearing design allows bearings to operate in low temperature, features quick heat dissipation and uniform loading capacity. Lubrication oil is more durable and makes maintenance an easy job.

The base of all blower models is made with flexible steel plates that feature shock absorption. Fastened with screws. The bases can also be fixed through the screw holes on the front cover, enabling either vertical or horizontal installation as required.

Made of aluminium alloy, all the TURBO blowers are lightweight and excellent in heat dissipation, thus allowing long time operation even under ambient temperatures reaching 40oC; insulation class F and H ensures better reliability.

Multi-layer shaft seals are used to thoroughly separate motor coil from blower body, ensures excellent performance and prevents motor from damage.

Side channel blowers are suitable for all those applications requiring considerably higher pressures than that which can be achieved using centrifugal fans. Side channel blowers are used in all those applications requiring an operating vacuum higher than the one achievable by a fan, but not as high as to require the use of a vacuum pump. The rotating parts of the blower are not in contact with the casing, there is therefore no friction during operation and thus no internal lubrication is necessary. The gas moving through the machine therefore remains uncontaminated and completely oil-free.

For the three phase machines the tolerance is +/- 10% for fixed voltage range and +/- 5% for regular voltage range.The single phase machines are designed with a +/- 5% tolerance. If only 90% of the maximum allowed pressure will be used for continuous operation then the allowed voltage range adds up to +/- 10%. The frequency tolerance is maximum +/- 2%.

As each lobe of an impeller passes the compressor inlet, it traps a quantity of air equal to exactly one-fourth the displacement of the compressor. This entrapment occurs four times per revolution, moving the entrained air around the case to the compressor outlet. Ground helical timing gears accurately position the impellers in relation to each other, maintaining the minute clearances so vital to the high volumetric efficiency of the rotary positive compressor. Because the compressor operates with very close internal tolerances, a slight amount of air escapes past the operating clearances back to the suction side of the compressor. This leakage, defined as 'slip' is a predictable constant volume for any given compressor at any given pressure. For ease in calculation, this leakage is expressed in compressor rpm. A standard slip, based on handling air at standard condition, has been established for each compressor size. For gases having a specific gravity other than 1.0, the slip will vary and this must be taken into consideration when calculating total operating speed of the unit.The Twin lobe Compressor is built with the closest possible tolerances to give highest volumetric efficiency. “Turbo Blower” Pumps are manufactured in our well-

equipped factory with the latest developed

technology to meet the varied need of the industries

& institution. “Turbo Blower” High Vacuum Pumps

are of the oil immersed rotary vane type V belt driven.

A stator with an eccentrically mounted rotor within it

from the main assembly. The rotor has two vanes

facing each other. There are springs in between the

two vanes. As the rotor revolves these springs press

the vanes against the inner wall of the stator and make

them move in and out of the rotor as the rotor revolves

by means of a driving shaft sweeping the air space

twice per revolution. Material of construction is

properly chosen graded cast iron and all the parts are

precisely machined micro finished and assembled to

close tolerances for high efficiency

ACCESSORIES FOR “TURBO BLOWER”

VACUUM PUMPS Non Return Valve It is provided

for preventing body leakages with the help of spring

tensioned rubber diaphragm. The rubber diaphragm

prevents back flow of oil when th pump is not in

motion. Air Ballast This is designed for removing

condensed vapour in the pump so that contamination

of oil is avoided. Moisture Trap Available in C.I./ AL

with detachable glass. The moisture in the air is

absorbed by this trap before entering into the pump.

Inlet Dust Filter Vacuum Gauge with Regulator This

Filters dust particles down to 20 micron size. This is

being used as to maintain any desired vacuum in the

system. It is graduated from 0 to 30 inches in mercury.

GUARANTEE Service after sales with one year

guarantee against manufacturing defects. NOTE

Models up to ME-15 are air cooled type & provided

with single phase Motors. Models from ME-16

onwards are provided with water cooling jackets and

3 phase Motors.
