.PERSONEL
1 TULANE GREENBACKS-HEROES 1924
Since this picture was made:. back in September this group of youths-the youngest team Tulane has
ever had- has fought its way to a place in Southern football or which few outside of Coach Shaughne.ssy
and a small group of optimis~s. scarcely dreamed. Since that time Bergeret reported to the squad and has
been fighting like a tiger in the line; Lorio was advanced to Lhe 'Varsity group from the reserves and h as
a bundantly proved his worth and, unfortunately. misfortune in the form of a broken leg, robbed Leal Mc
Lean of the privilege of going ahead with his mates, and deprived Tulane of his services.
