Page 2: TUG-2018-Program-5.5x8.5 - New Version

Dear friends, partners, and colleagues,

It means so much to us that youíve traveled to Utah and you are investing the next few days with TazWorks. We realize that this is valuable time away from your offices and for many, taking you away from revenue-driving events. Your commitment to our annual event is critical to the success of our partnership and the growth we expect together in 2018 and future years.

This industry is changing, and so is TazWorks. A common theme you will hear across the conference is ì Sales-driven Technology.î As we continue to collabo-rate to deliver the best technology platform to power your business, we are developing as a sales engine to support your business strategies and revenue goals. The time has never been better to disrupt the industry and expand market share.

Over the next couple days, we will share exciting advances that directly support aggressive growth goals. As integrations are a key part of this, weíve now made resources for these available to you through a self-service model. Our dev plan is aggressive and now viewable to you thought TazSupport.com, including many items youíve requested that we are excited to share. This new direction adds and expands upon everything weíve done so far, which youíll learn more about in my State of the Union address.

Please attend the sessions throughout the next couple days with questions, thoughts, and most importantly, an appetite for creativity and collaboration. We expect this to be our best TUG yet.

I hope you have a fantastic time while you're here and leave feeling more connected to us, with a greater sense of our commitment to building the best for you, and excited about the future. This is our background screening market to own together.

Your success is our success,

Barton Taylor TazWorks Founder and CEO

Knowledge-based Authentication:Donít Guess Who Your Applicants AreHow can you be sure I am who I say I am? Data breaches are at an all-time high, but you can help your clients from being one of the millions who are affected each year. Join us as we explain knowledge-based authentication technology and its applications in the screening industry. We will discuss how this technology differs from CBSV (consent-based social security verification) and why itís simpler, faster, and more efficient for screening companies to use.

Accreditations, Audits, and YouWhat we are doing to ensure the security, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive and personally identifiable information? These questions originate from many sources, includ-ing RFP questionnaires, industry accreditation requirements, contractual obligations, end-users, or your cousin Francis. Come learn about PCI DSS, EI3PA, SOC 2, and GDPR, and how TazWorks' compliance with these trusted frameworks can safeguard your critical business information and help you sleep better at night.

The time has never been better to disrupt the industry and expand market share, and as we continue to collaborate to deliver the best technology platform to power your business, we are developing as a sales engine to support your business strategies and revenue goals. Learn more about what weíve accomplished in the last year, get a preview into our aggressive development plans for the coming year, and hear some of our biggest announcements we have to share.

Hot Topics in Background Screening Compliance: Pamela Devata, Seyfarth Shaw LLPWhat hot topics are all the rage right now in the world of background screening compli-ance? What new and emerging interpretations of the FCRA and other legislation might be putting you at risk? Where should you be continuing to place your focus to keep your company covered? Learn all this and more from industry legal expert Pamela Devata.

1:30-2:15 pm

9:00 -10:15 am

10:30 am -12:00 pm

Customizing Disclosures: Required Info, Uploads, and MoreNew legislation is being passed constantly with new restrictions and requirements on what, when, and how disclosures and authorizations are sent to applicants. It can seem almost impossible to build a process thatís flexible, compliant, AND easy to manage, but our new functionality will do just that! Building on the foundations of jurisdictional disclo-sures, come learn what more we have planned, share your feedback, and help your clients stay at the cutting edge of disclosures compliance.

Understanding The Jurisdiction Selection Tool: New Features, Tips, and MoreAre you looking to get more out of the jurisdiction select tool? Do you find yourself confused by what the tool does and how it works? Have you taken advantage of the new functionality we've added to this feature in the last year? In this session we do a deep dive into all the specific options of the jurisdiction selection tool to gain a better understanding of how to use it effectively, including taking advantage of our include and exclude functionality, and more!

Jurisdictional Disclosures: States, Counties, and Cities New legislation is being passed constantly at the state, county, and even city level, with new restrictions and requirements on what, when, and how disclosures and authorizations are sent to applicants. Come see what we're building and how you can customize what applicants receive based on where they live, where the job is, or where your clients are based.

Underutilized Features to Help You Become More EfficientWe want to help you be as successful as possibleó and part of that is making your work as easy as possible! We'll show how some of our features you may not be using can help save you time and money, allowing you to process more reports faster and with fewer people. When your company is more efficient and productive, your costs go down, and your overall profits go up. Who doesn't want that?

2:15-3:00 pm

613 (a) Notices: Faster, Flexible ConfigurationsThe interpretation of 613 (a) requirements under the FCRA is always changing, making it hard to keep track of and comply with the FCRA, federal, state, and local laws. We want to provide you with the most flexibility possible, which is why we want your feedback on our upcoming tools for "At the Time" notices. Check out what we have planned, share your thoughts and ideas, and collaborate on how you'd like to use TazWorks software for this area.

Collaboration: Tagging reports and searches What if you could easily add tags to your searches and reports to be able to find and filter for exactly what you need or communicate important information at a glance, such as rush orders, disputes, and more? How would you use this functionality, and how would you like to see it implemented? Tell us your thoughts and use cases so we can build the best tools to fit your needs.
