• RevTrak will provide our District the ability to accept credit cards. RevTrak is an on-line payment solution.

• RevTrak creates & maintains a District Web Store. All schools will be linked by name. CCPS.revtrak.net/ “school name”

• RevTrak is already working on creating a Web Store for each school. A donation item will be added for all sites.

• The Web Store is available as an option for all schools. Schools can create sale items for anything they collect payments for. (uniforms, dues, tickets, etc.) Participation is not mandatory.

Position Control Reminders • Change of Assignment PAF (within building or from one site to another)

• If the FROM assignment does not populate, please call your Staffing Manager. When this happens, it means the employee failed to enter their EID# when completing the application.

• You can only use the Employee Replacing name 1X. Double check by viewing your Personnel Requests.

• References – Change of assignments of employees coming from another school must have a reference. The principals need to communicate the move. The principals name goes on the reference field once they have spoken.

Post-Interview Steps

• Interview questions and all associated documents: 4-year retention requirement

• Recommendation: scan items and organize chronologically• Once scanned, hard copies must be disposed of through shredder• After 4-years, the scanned files must be deleted

• Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of applicant screening process

• Direct candidate to HR for information/questions related to compensation and benefits

Hiring and Records

• An employment contract, like any contract, involves an offer, an acceptance, and consideration for salary and benefits.

• All offers of employment are CONTINGENT upon successful completion of fingerprinting, drug screening, and reference checks.

• The District must follow statutory screening standards with respect to fingerprinting, the Jessica Lunsford Act, as well as the nature and severity of any crime found to have been committed including statutory restrictions on hire.

• Given the time it sometimes takes for receiving information back from State and Federal law enforcement agencies, as well as references: final decisions may take longer than anticipated.

Physician’s certificate request process

• When an employee is absent in an unpaid status (not approved through the Benefit’s Office) OR if an employee’s absence due to sick leave reasons is suspicious:

• Send an e-mail to Sandy Eaton (cc your Coordinator) during the morning of the absence including the employee’s name, position, absence period, and reason to request the Physician’s certificate.

• Whether or not the employee submits the requested certificate to the Principal, the employee is subject to disciplinary action when absent excessively and/or in an unauthorized and unpaid status.

• Please do not send Physician’s certificate requests to HR days after the employee’s absence.

year— deducted from employee’s accrued sick leave balance • Employee shall provide principal with five (5) days prior notice• Maximum number of employees personal leave for any given

Long Term Guest Teacher Request Submissions

• Long Term Guest Teacher (LT GT) PAFs must be submitted within the pay period they start.

• Staff must meet the minimum requirements – 30 days in the same position, BA degree.

Guest Teacher Restriction ProcessIn an effort to best serve our Guest Teachers and schools in the District, this is a review of the Guest Teacher Restriction process: When a school administrator feels a Guest Teacher’s performance has been unsatisfactory or the Guest Teacher has demonstrated inappropriate behavior, the administrator must:

1. The school administrator will discuss this issue with the Guest Teacher as soon as they become aware of the incident. a) Preference should be for School Administration to be have conversation /

discussion with guest teacher prior to sending restriction2. Submit a Guest Teacher Restriction form within 48 hours to the Guest Teacher

Program. a) Include any supporting documentation (i.e. student or staff statements)

Upon receipt of the Guest Teacher Restriction form, the Guest Teacher Program will notify the Guest Teacher of the restriction and will provide an opportunity for a meeting and a written response. 1. Restriction is received in HR from a School Administrator

a) Guest Teacher is restricted in Aesop from subbing at all schools. b) Guest Teacher is notified through email that there has been a

restriction and HR would like to meet with him/her to discuss. c) Meeting is scheduled between guest teacher and HR.

Peer Teacher Recommendations• How many of your mentors teachers are not receiving their

stipend? • We gave you a printout during the January 15th meeting… what’s their

status?Have they completed the initial training?Did they complete the online refresher training?

• We sent an e-mail on Monday, March 18th to any mentors who do not show completion of the initial training.
