In light of Covid 19, I urge all staff and students to look after yourselves and those around you. Even though this virus effects us physically, I would likeyou to take some time to look after your MENTAL health.

There are plenty of online services and apps to help look after yourself.

Please sign up to headspace online services. It is free and very good. I have used this on my phone!!

Thanks you to all students who have expressed interest in Public Speaking. I regret to infrom you that the annual, All Boys Public SpeakingCompetition that was scheduled for Tuesday, 31st March has been postponed. .

Last Friday, I was infromed by the Arts Unit that their Junior and Senior competitions would be delayed.

To any budding artists that are in year 7, 8,9 or 10...Every year schools across New South Wales are invited to participate in Operation Art, aninitiative of The Children's Hospital at Westmead in association with the New South Wales Department of Education. The Operation Art programprovides a forum for schools and students to demonstrate their visual arts achievements through exhibitions at the Armory Gallery, Sydney OlympicPark and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

submitting an entry:</h2>Curatorial Brief "As some exhibited works will eventually be hung at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, we ask that special consideration be givento ensure that the artwork submitted is uplifting and does not contain material that could be considered culturally sensitive in nature". Entries for Operation Art are only accepted from NSW schoolsEach school may submit up to four artworks from any student in Kindergarten - Year 10For collaborative works, a maximum of four students per work may contribute to creating the entry.Size: Minimum A4 (30 x 21cm), maximum A2 (42 x 60cm), maximum depth 5mm. Please note: we are unable to frameworks that are deeper thanthis limit. Please do not laminate works. Please do not use Blue tac on works.

Year 10 I have sent you all an email with short TAFE courses on offer for Term 2. If you are interested please refer to your email sent on Wednesdaythe 18th March which specifies that you will need to complete and send the form electronically with an attachment of your latest report and that way Ican send it through directly to TAFe.

Also a good idea to put in a second preference in case you don't get your first.Only requirements are that you must be 15 years old and be anAustralian Citizen or Resident.
